Although non renewable energy will eventually be replaced by new energy,but coal resources in the current energy consumption is still large,it is particularly important to improve the efficiency of coal resources mining.The key to improve the efficiency of coal mining is to raise the level of mechanization and automation of coal mining face.At present,the hydraulic support and scraper conveyor have been automated in the commonly used equipments in the coal mining face,but the automation level of the shear needs to be further improved.The automatic height adjustment of shearer drum is one of the key technologies that restrict the automation level of shearer.The research methods of automatic height adjustment of shearer drum include theoretical research,simulation research and experimental research.From the point of view of experimental research,the author's team designed the shearer height adjustment experimental device.On the basis of the design of the mechanical and hydraulic structure of the shearer height adjustment experimental device,the paper has completed the design of its electrical part,the monitoring system of the shearer height adjustment experimental device has been designed.First of all,the overall design of the shearer height adjustment experimental device monitoring system has been carried out,the monitoring system is a three-layer control structure,including the equipment layer,control layer and control management layer;next,the data acquisition system of the equipment layer is selected,including vibration sensor,pressure sensor,current sensor and signal conditioner and data acquisition card;then,the motor control circuit design of shearer height adjustment device is finished,the type of distribution electrical appliance in the line is selected and the design of the integrated electric control cabinet is finished;secondly,PLC control system of lower computer of control layer is designed,PLC control requirements are defined,PLC host unit and expansion unit are selected and designed,PLC control program is designed,including the motor start and stop control program,analog acquisition program,open-loop control and closed-loop PID control program program;then,the configuration of monitoring and controlling software is designed,the design requirements of the configuration software is given,this paper discusses the design procedure,the monitoring screen design and the establishment of the standard database are both completed;finally the experiment to verify the shearer monitoring system of high experimental device is designed,not only the methods of communication between the host computer and lower PLC are described in detail in the experiment but also the methods of communication between configuration software and the lower computer PLC.
