Cement rotary kiln is a kind of building material equipment, used for calcining cement clinker in our country. As the development of technology, the rotary kiln is being used more and more widely. It has become urgent need to solve the problem on how to in the design of the least cost design on the basis of the safest and most efficient cement rotary kiln. This paper,Mechanical calculation and finite element analysis platform is developed for cement rotary kiln with independent intellectual property rights in combination with the practical demand of enterprises. In this paper, the main work and results summarized as the following respects.Firstly, the reaction force and bending moment of kiln shell is calculated by using more than three bending moment equation to keep the bending stress from exceeding the maximum stress. On this basis, the strength of wheel for support, key parts and components are checked.Secondly, finite element analysis of the whole model is calculated to get the stress and deformation condition. And the components' stress is analyzed to output stress and deformation nephogram, and to make sure stress concentration won't happen.Lastly, combining with the design experience in present stage,VB6.0 is used to programming to integrate most of the cement rotary kiln design steps in mechanical calculation software platform, and the ANSYS software is called by VB6.0 for the analysis and optimization of the key components of cement rotary kiln.In conclusion, the research achievement greatly save the human cost, speed up the design process, has a positive impact for the design of the cement rotary kiln production.
