The tailings is used to store the important places of tailings,if the tailings dam failure,tailings stockpiled in high potential solid-liquid mixing slag will leak and pose a huge threat to the ecological environment and life surrounding property.There are many factors leading to the failure of the tailings dam,in which seepage and earthquake are the main causes of the instability of the tailings dam.It is of great theoretical and practical significance and guiding significance respectively to study the stability of tailings dam under the action of seepage and earthquake and safe operation of tailings pond and coherent units.In this paper,Daheishan tailings dam as the research object,based on the tailings project related data,combined with the engineering geological conditions of Daheishan tailings dam,through analysis,field investigation and indoor monitoring data analysis,using GEOSTUDIO simulation software,simulation calculation and analysis model,analysis of seepage characteristics of tailings dam,static stability analysis,seismic response analysis,finally according to the simulation results,the main conclusions and suggestions are given.According to the actual situation of the tailings dam,the main research contents are as follows:1.Through the investigation into the tailings and tailings site and collecting relevant information,to obtain information of tailings,expound the engineering geological conditions of the tailings dam,and elaborate the basic situation of tailing dam,accordingly,the subsequent simulation analysis of tailings dam.2.To establish the simulation model of tailings dam,analysis of tailings dam under different conditions of saturation line distribution by using SEEP/W software,calculating the exit flow and seepage point of tailing dam seepage line under different working conditions,and measuring the tailings daminfiltrating line were analyzed.The results show that the matching effect of Simulation of tailings dam saturation line and measured line seepage of the tailing dam is preferable,the results of seepage analysis can be applied to the subsequent analysis.3.On the basis of seepage results,SIGMA/W software is used to analyze the stress and deformation of tailings dam.Simulation of offset monitoring of tailings dam slope,and with the observation data of tailings dam offset comparative analysis,reveal the regularity of SLOPE/W stability of tailings dam under different conditions were simulated,by calculation and analysis,through the analysis of results,it shows that tailings dam safety coefficient decreases as the reservoir water level increase.4.Simulation and analysis of tailings dam seismic pore water pressure and effective stress,revealing the regularity earthquake liquefaction and permanent deformation,and illuminating the relationship amoung stress,liquefaction degree,permanent deformation and earthquake.Through the above research work,it reveals the regularity of the tailings dam phreatic line changing with the water level,and the relationship with the stability of the tailings dam slope.Simulating tailings stress and strain variation and the distribution of the tailings dam offset by seismic response analysis and clarifying the impact of the earthquake on the tailing.Finally,according to the conclusions,the paper puts forward some reasonable suggestions and preventive measures.
