Lingnan tailings from building has served for decades,the expansion of this period because of the refinery,through two higher expansion,lingnan stope size further,now in phase ii after heightenning tailings capacity can not meet the requirement of the use,so the mine of tailings extensions for the third phase of expansion projects.By analyzing the Lingnan tailings contents of the investigation report,first of all to lingnan tailings dam type,its,geological surroundings,dam e facilities,and so on and so forth in detail,and then to survey report provided the basis of stratigraphic section,after appropriate simplification,tailings dam internal layers;The effective mechanical parameters were detennined by a large number of experiments.On the premise of dam layering and mechanical parameters,using the limit of safety analysis of three different running conditions of dam slope sliding resistance analysis,the results show that in the will for the first time to increase the dam height to 100 m,the safety factor against sliding did not meet the requirements of specification,tailings dam in unsafe condition,after the initial dam reinforcement to improve the dam height,the operation of the tailings dam safe;Based on three-dimensional seepage simulation results infiltrates surface position,seepage path,the analysis of the seepage velocity and hydraulic gradient,get after the initial dam reinforcement,the third phase of heightening design of 138 m high dam,dam body can still run normally.
