Ventilation system is closely related to the safety and productivity of mines.To a large extent,the effect of gas treatment depends on the effective coverage of airflow to the working faces.Optimization research in ventilating system is imperative,which not only can enhance and improve the various benefits in production,but also can guarantee the health and safety of the operators in mines.The transformation of the mine ventilation system is not a simple decision-making problem but a systematic decision which is composed by a variety of quantitative and qualitative factors.The paper is based on the Wang Yang coal mine,through studying a large number of related documents,analyzing the basement of current situation and combining with the long-term plan requirements,works out three kinds of feasible and more reasonable transformation schemes.That is,replacing the main ventilator,ventilation mode:two downcast and one return air shaft,ventilation mode:one downcast and two return air shaft after building the gas drainage system.conforming to the National technical standards and realizing ventilation resistance-ventilation volume matching are set as optimization objective,three types of ventilation system transformation schemes are solved and decided by MVAD(Ventilation Aided Decision System).Ventilation mode:one downcast and two return air shaft after building the gas drainage system optimization is decided as the transformation scheme of ventilation system of Wang Yang coal mine by two aspects of qualitative analysis and quantitative,which are compared and analyzed comprehensively.Two fans are set in1#return air shaft,which type is FBCDZ-?14D and motor power is 2×55kW;Two fans are set in2#return air shaft,which type is FBCDZ-?14B and motor power is2×30kW.After using the scheme,ventilation system meets the requirement of the National technical standards,mine resistance reduce by 71.91%,which attains the goal of mineventilation system air system matching,is easy to ventilate the mine ventilation,decreases the power of the motor 34.62%,and saves 650,000 yuan a year in electricity costs.Research on the way of ventilation system transformation in Wang Yang coal mine shows the transformation scheme of ventilation system are comprehensive optimization decision problems,which combines ventilation system transformation with the gas drainage system.Success in the ventilation system transformation of Wang Yang coal mine provides referential ventilation system transformation experience for the productive mine.
