With the continuous development of China's economy,the demand for crude oil is growing and the pipeline mileage is getting longer,therefore,the energy consumption of pipeline can not be underestimated.In order to reduce the energy consumption and improve the profit of enterprises,it is necessary to optimize the equipment parameters on the completed crude oil pipeline.This paper develops OptCOP optimization software and the application result shows that energy saving effect is remarkable.First of all,based on the actual pipeline operating characteristics,the crude oil pipeline energy optimization model is established.Most of crude oil is highly viscous and condensable in China,so during the process of transmission,the power needs to be provided and the crude oil needs to be heated by furnace.Therefore,the objective function of this paper for the transmission of crude oil is the sum of the power costs and thermal costs.Before the total costs are calculated,the assumptions and the constraint conditions are put forward.Meanwhile,the oil-related physical parameters,the hydraulic and heat loss of the pipeline and the energy consumption equipment are analysed and calculated.Secondly,use the improved genetic algorithm to solve the energy consumption optimization model of crude oil pipeline.Compared with traditional and other intelligent algorithms,the genetic algorithm is the best option.In order to make the genetic algorithm more accurate to find the optimal solution of the model,it has been improved: adopt real number code which combines pump number,pump speed with inlet temperature innovatively;after changing the objective function,the fitness function is established to improve the efficiency of the algorithm;in order to avoid the shortcomings of the single selection method,adopt the mixed selection mechanism of elite selection and roulette wheel selection;based on the characteristics of different parts of code,use a variety of cross and mutation operators innovatively making the algorithm operation faster and the result more accurate.Thirdly,develop OptCOP optimization software.On the basis of optimization of energy consumption model and improved genetic algorithm of crude oil pipeline,utilizing the JAVA language to develop OptCOP optimization software which has friendly user interfaces and convenient data import and export functions.Finally,examples are given to demonstrate the feasible and practical optimization of OptCOP optimization software.The verification is mainly divided into three parts: the first part is to compare with the PNS software to verify the accuracy of the hydraulic calculation part;the second part is to verify the feasibility of the optimization scheme through the PNS software;the third part is to use the equipment in the laboratory of Xi'an Shiyou University to verify the practical application effect of the optimization scheme.The result shows that OptCOP energy optimization software can significantly reduce the transmission energy consumption and energy saving effect is obvious.
