In this paper,the energy-saving optimization of long-distance crude oil pipeline has been studied,and a case study of a specific pipeline has been carried out and a feasible energy-saving and optimized operation scheme has been put forward.Based on the characteristics of long-distance pipeline transportation,a mathematical model for the optimal operation of the monthly oil delivery plan with minimum energy consumption was established.The research chose simplex method and adaptive genetic algorithm to solve the mathematical model of long-distance oil transportation tasks allocation and pipeline operation optimization respectively.On the basis of studying the hydraulic-thermal characteristics of X pipeline,and the physical and rheological properties of transported crude oil in X pipeline,the research analyzed key factors affecting the energy consumption of X pipeline,quantified the influencing degree of main factors.The results show that the energy consumption of oil is relatively sensitive to the minimum allowable inlet temperature and outlet temperature,and the change of energy consumption of 5% unit temperature is 18% and 11%.By comparing the historical actual operation energy consumption,the research found that energy consumption can be reduced to varying degrees by PPD,volume distribution optimization,throttling situation and inlet temperature.The energy consumption target curve and the corresponding appraisal management system were set up according to the key factors and the actual management preferences.Compared with the historical operation data of X crude oil pipeline,the energy can be saved between 19.0% and 72.5% under the management system.Based on optimized operation,this paper discussed the method of setting up target energy consumption management system.The method has certain universality for domestic crude oil pipelines.In the system,the allocation of output,throttle situation,the minimum allowable inlet temperature and the outlet temperature are key factors.For different crude oil pipelines,the sensitivities of those key factors mentioned above and the management preferences are different.Manager should adjust the weights of factors depending on the specific circumstances of pipelines in order to reach the optimization target and save energy.
