Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of urbanization of China,a large quantity of people gathered in the cities,which make a rise in population density and high development of construction land.Moreover,due to the economic and policy factors,a high-density and complex urban texture has formed,and the impact of urban microclimate is increasingly obvious,especially the urban heat island(UHI)phenomenon.Urban Heat Island is define as a phenomenon that the temperature of the urban built-up area is significantly higher than the one of peripheral city field.In the cause of formation,urban morphology has an important influence on the heat island effect.In order to alleviate the impact of urban heat island,researchers had defined the Sky View Factor(SVF)as a geometrical index description urban morphology,which proved to have high negative correlation with urban heat island.The larger the sky openness,the less possibility of urban heat island effect.In recent years,most research on urban form and sky view factor,is based on the simulation models,the conclusion and strategy are established on the basis of model simulations.Other research of urban texture sections is focus on assessment and lack of the study on the correlation between SVF and index of urban form.On the other hand,the strategy of simulation models need to be verified by the urban sectionsThe paper is focus on the correlation between average SVF and the index of high-density non-regular texture.Firstly,the paper summarizes strategies and conclusions of simulation models.Based on the theory of SVF,paper reviews and filters the index system of urban morphology.Secondly,pieces classification on the base of the conclusion of theoretical research,the article select and establish 41 pieces of urban texture with high density and non-regular layout.Based on Rhino-Grasshopper software,paper then sets up the SVF computing platform.Thirdly,with the help of platform,paper statistics the index and average SVF of all the pieces.By the control variate method(variable like floor area ratio,SVF),paper analyses the correlation between the index and average SVF.In the end,the paper summarizes the correlation between the section index and average SVF,and puts forward the method and suggestions to control SVF through morphologic change.In conclusion,the paper establishes an effective method to estimate the average SVF of high-density and non-regular texture.By index statistics of 41 pieces of urban texture,the paper verifies the conclusion of simulation research,discusses the correlation between average SVF and index of texture pieces,and puts forward a series of suggestions to control SVF based on block partition,volume distribution and building layout.
