Amphoteric polyacrylamide(AmPAM)is a kind of water-soluble macromolecular compound containing anionic and cationic groups.It has the advantages of good solubility,flocculation,crosslinking and tackiness.In the water treatment,Oil and mineral processing and other fields with a wide range of applications and development prospects.This paper adopts photo-initiation method,through the copolymerization method,choose different cationic monomer methyl acryloyl oxygen ethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(DMC),acryloyl oxygen ethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride(DAC),dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride(DMDAAC)respectively in acrylamide(AM)and acrylic acid sodium(AANa)copolymer,synthesis of different types of AmPAM;Studied the reaction system of monomer ratio,monomer mass fraction,the dosage of initiator,reaction temperature,illumination time,solution pH,urea addition amount on the intrinsic viscosity,the effects of product the intrinsic viscosity and dosage of polymer on the flocculation effect.Cationic monomer for DMC amphoteric polyacrylamide P(AM-DMC-AANa)best synthetic conditions:n(AM):n(NaAA):n(DMC)= 1:0.63:0.14,monomer mass fraction is 38%,initiator dosage is 0.06%,illumination time is 2 h,the reaction temperature is 35?,solution pH is 7.5,urea addition amount is 3%;The product of intrinsic viscosity is 834.13 mL/g,the cationic degree is 7.91%,anionic degree is 35.59%,AM residue is 0.037%.Infrared spectrum and nuclear magnetic hydrogen spectrum analysis shows that the products conform to the structure of P(AM-DMC-AANa)characteristic;Better flocculation conditions:the characteristic viscosity number is 834.13 mL/g of flocculant dosage of 10 mg/L,supernatant transmittance can reach 90%,the sedimentation rate is up to 47 cm/min.Cationic monomer for DAC amphoteric polyacrylamide P(AM-DAC-AANa)best synthetic conditions:n(AM):n(AANa):n(DAC)? 1:0.70:0.20,monomer mass fraction is 30%,light initiator dosage is 0.08%,illumination time is 2.5 h,the reaction temperature is 30?,solution pH is 7,urea content is 5%;The product of intrinsic viscosity is 1022.37 mL/g,the cationic degree is 10.53%,anionic degree is 36.84%,AM residue is 0.031%.Infrared spectrum and nuclear magnetic hydrogen spectrum analysis shows that the products conform to the structure of P(AM-DAC-AANa)characteristic;Better flocculation conditions as follows:the characteristic viscosity number is 963.14 mL/g of flocculant dosage of 10 mg/L,supernatant transmittance can reach 98%,sedimentation rate is up to 58 cm/min.Cationic monomer for DMDAAC amphoteric polyacrylamide P(AM-DMDAAC-AANa)best synthetic conditions:in the n(AM):n(AANa):n(DMDAAC)= 1:0.65:0.16,monomer mass fraction is 32%,initiator dosage is 0.08%,the illumination time is 2.5 h,the reaction temperature is 30?,solution pH is 6.5,the urea content is 3%;The product of intrinsic viscosity is 912.16 mL/g,cationic degree is 8.73%,the anion degree is 35.82%,AM residue is 0.033%.Infrared spectrum and nuclear magnetic hydrogen spectrum analysis shows that the products conform to the P(AM-DMDAAC-AANa)structural features.Better flocculation conditions as follows:the characteristic viscosity number is 912.16 mL/g of flocculant dosage is 8 mg/L,supernatant transmittance can reach 95%,the sedimentation rate is up to 56 cm/min.
