Emulsion explosives are generally referred to as aqueous solutions of nitrates or nitrates in the internal phase,external phase is made of fuel oil,emulsifier and shear,made a special emulsion and emulsion matrix,then introduce micro bubble or bubble carrier made of water resistant civil explosives.The particularity of the emulsion is mainly embodied in the following aspects:(1)the proportion of the external volume is very small,which is a kind of concentrated emulsion(dispersion system),(2)the inner phase is a highly supersaturated inorganic oxidant aqueous solution.The water resistance is high and the stability is safe,and the production is simple,non-toxic and harmless,so it can be called "green" explosive.China's production of emulsion explosive technology can be divided into two categories,one is the traditional,continuous improvement of low-temperature sensitization production technology.The explosive is characterized by low requirement of mechanical equipment and good sensitization effect,and can be used in the production process of belt(or strip).one is the introduction of a few years ago from abroad and independent digestion and absorption of high-temperature production technology.The use of this technology overcomes the shortcomings of low temperature sensitization production technology,has been widely used in China,especially the application of ammonium nitrate solution,static emulsification,static sensitization and other new technologies and Tippertie charging machine supporting the safety of emulsion explosive has been improved.Currently,there are over 50 established or being established production lines using high-temperature sensitization technology and this number is increasing year by year.It will gradually replace medium and low temperature sensitization technology and has already become development direction of domestic industry.Compared with low-temperature sensitization,the high-temperature sensitization has more advantages in safety,product quality,production efficiency,energy consumption and mechanization level.It can be concluded that the high temperature sensitization technology has some advantages in the aspects of intrinsic safety,yield,unit energy consumption,product stability and so on.High-temperature sensitization was a kind of advanced technology,which meets the development trend of civil explosive equipment industry.
