Construction And Commissioning Process Of Jacking System For Jack-Up Platform

With the development of economic growth and the field of science in the world, the human society demand for oil and gas energy is becoming more and more. Oil and gas resources as non-renewable resources have gradually been poor on the land, after continuous exploitation in large scale and long period. In recent years, the exploitation for marine oil become to be concerned, jack up platform played an important role in marine oil exploration.So the demand of jack-up platform is then increased year by year, the jacking system is the key part of jack up platform, the quality of the construction and system commissioning put forward higher requirement by owner, the investigation and improvement for jacking system construction and system commissioning processes are obligatory to be solved issues for shipyard self-elevating platform building at the moment.In this paper, the investigation based on the jack-up rig HYSY932, which has been delivered by CIMC to owner in 2014, mainly analyzed all sorts of important problem jacking system in the construction and commissioning process in old period,detailed introduction difficulties of leg and jack-case construction, elevating unit installation and system commissioning process. And study the solutions; the important matters also need to be attention for manufacturing processThe jack up rig legs and Jackcase construction are most importance of jacking system,the temperature control, precision control and welding quality management are very difficulties for legs and Jack case construction, for the reason to avoid deformation during the construction, symmetric welding simultaneously, and special assembly jig assistant,temporary horse plate, the line marked, real-time measurement and so on. Welding quality management is more important, the quality of heat treatment, welding material and welding method, welding skills for welder, preheating and thermal insulation are important factors influencing the welding quality. During the period of manufacturing and installation, stress and deformation need to be solved; the precision and tolerance needs revision in the production process, which had already clear mentioned in this paper. Otherwise, this paper also include the basic procedure for jacking units installation and system commissioning procedure, summarizes those difficulties and problems encountered during the period of jacking system installation and testing, and study solutions for each questions, in this method to improve the construction process, key out notes, which provide theoretical reference for jack up building, and also make process more easy to understand for site work as guidance.
