The Application Of 3D Printing Technology In Jewelry Design

In recent years,with the vigorous development of 3D printing technology,it has been applied in all aspects of our lives.In the contemporary jewelry design,it has also been used by artists due to its innovative molding method.It is since the 1990 s that 3D printing technology has been used in jewelry design,which poses a huge impact on contemporary jewelry production process,design concept and the future development of contemporary jewelry design and other aspects.This paper starts from the theoretical research of 3D printing technology to explore the totally new manifestation that the jewelry works with 3D printing technology have exhibited.Also,it makes a prediction of the future development direction of 3D printing technology and jewelry design.Then,3D printing technology is used to produce metal mortise in combination with the practice of individual works.In addition,different materials are spliced to analyze the performance and limitations of 3D printing technology in practical application.Finally,it makes a deep interpretation of the application of 3D printing technology in contemporary jewelry design through the combination of theory and practice.
