With the rapid development of plastic manufacturing and industry,the polyamide6(PA6)composites,commonly used engineering plastics,have widely used in fraction field.Along with the more and more complicated and harsh processing conditions,it is significant important to investigate and enhance the wear resistance of PA6 under different work conditions so as to expand the application fields and complex processing environment of PA6.In this essay,the matrix material is the composites of PA6,30% GF and PA66(denoted as PA6/F).By adding modifier such as EAA,EPDM-g-MAH and SMA,the PA6 base composites were melt blended through twin-screw extruder.Then,the sample was prepared by injection molding machine.The mechanical properties,MFR and heat resistance of composites were measured.And the friction and wear resistance were investigated by vertical axis pin wear test machine MG2000 with different conditions like temperatures,rotating speed and load.The content of EAA,EPDM-g-MAH and SMA has a great influence on the performance of PA6-based composites.Based on the wear resistance data and wear surface topography,all modifiers have effectively improved the wear resistance of PA6 composites.When EAA is 4wt%,the PA-F/EAA composites have excellent wear resistance in the aspects of abrasive wear and fatigue wear properties.Simultaneously,when the content of EPDM-g-MAH and SMA were 2wt%,the wear resistance properties for PA-F/EPDM-g-MAH and PA-F/SMA were optimal.According to the mechanical performance test results,a certain amount of EAA,EPDM-g-MAH and SMA can improve compatibility of PA6 and GF so that the mechanical properties have been enhanced,and the heat distortion temperature has not changed.But the solution flow rate of PA6-based composites has increased.In order to obtain excellent PA6-based composite material with excellent wear resistance and strong applicability,we has selected PA-F/EAA(4wt%),PA-F/EPDM-g-MAH(2wt%),PA-F/SMA(2wt%)composites materials.Wear resistance test has measured under different temperature,rotating speed and load.The experimental results revealed that wear resistance of PA-F/EAA(4wt%)composites were influenced with the increasing of temperature,rotating speed and load.In general,wear resistance of PA-F/SMA(2wt%)composites have maintained whenspeed,load,temperature changes.
