The Study Of The Branched Lamp Design In Han Dynasty

This essay takes branched lamp in Han Dynasty as the research object.Starting from the design perspective,decoration,structure,function and implication of the Han Dynasty branched lamp design are discussed.Branched lamps of the Han Dynasty shows the human constantly improve the design process of artificial light,also contains a symbol of ancient people expressed feelings through artifacts.With distinctive ethnic characteristics,Han Dynasty branched lamp shined bright in China lighting lamp design history.The research of the Han Dynasty branched lamp design is particularly important now because we are focusing on the Chinese cultural heritage today.This essay mainly adopts the methods of design,combined with the archaeological typology,history,sociology,optics and other research methods,through data collection,literature research,analogy analysis,case study to do a full range and multi angle analysis of Han Dynasty branched lamp.The research first analyses the origin and development of branched lamp from the perspective of social culture,and motivation that prosper the lamp from the macro point of view.Then this thesis uses the archaeological typology method to classify the multi-branch lamps in Han Dynasty.When it comes to the decoration,the theme,content and meaning are sorted out,and then the design rule of decoration is summarized.In terms of the structure,the rationality and scientificity of the lamps’ design structure are confirmed by modern mechanics.As for the function,the physical facility,together with the social and cultural background,has been put into consideration;as far as the materials are concerned,manufacturing techniques of different materials are discussed and then extended to the links between them.Finally,the essay summarizes the excellent design ideas in the Han Dynasty branched lamp contains,in order to provide ideas for modern design practice.In short,the Han Dynasty branched lamp is a production with the melody of the times,created under a specific historical and cultural context,also reflects the design and creation of ancient science,politics,combined with the social customs and other aspects,as well as the design concept of China’s Han Dynasty creations from one side.Due to the lack of design perspective of research of the branched lamp,I hope to contribute my own opinion of the Han Dynasty branched lamp design research.
