As the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene melt viscosity is very high,the processing fluidity is almost zero,in the injection molding machine barrel is difficult to move forward with the rotation of the screw,which is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene processing brought Great difficulty.In order to solve the problem of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene injection molding,this paper has studied the injection molding of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene in the following aspects:1.The analytical formula of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene was analyzed experimentallyIn this paper,ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene with molecular weight of 1.5 million was used as the research object.Low molecular weight HDPE was used as lubricant to add ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.The composites were compared with different compounding materials,Finally,four kinds of formulations with 30%,25%,20%and 15%machinability were systematically studied.2.Improve the melting performance of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene melt by screw improvementUltra-high molecular weight polyethylene melt has a very high viscosity,almost no liquidity,the coefficient of friction is very small,the molding process in the barrel easily with the rotation of the screw and slip phenomenon is not conducive to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene Of the plasticized transport.In this paper,the polyflow software was used to simulate the plasticization process of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.The parameters of the screw(lead,the depth of the measuring section,the width of the rib,the gap between the rib and the barrel)were optimized,Plasticity of High Molecular Weight Polyethylene.3.Optimization of the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene injection molding process parametersThe numerical simulation of the injection molding process of UHMWPE was carried out by using Moldflow finite element analysis software.The effects of injection pressure,measurement temperature,injection speed,screw speed and packing pressure on the shrinkage deformation were analyzed by L16(45)orthogonal table.The process parameters were optimized and the parameters Conducted a test,analysis and comparison.
