With the rapid development of chemical industry in our country,the leakage of liquid hazardous chemical accidents occurred frequently,which has high risk to the people's life and property and the natural environment.Carbon foam as a kind of good adsorption material,in the treatment of the liquid for spill has very good application prospects.In this study,by using the template method,rice husk carbon and granular activated carbon are used as precursor carbon source,corn starch as a binder,and polyurethane as the template,for preparing molded foam porous carbon materials.Based on the orthogonal experiment method,the design of the factors including the types of Polyurethane,the mass fraction of corn starch,the mass ratio of Zinc oxide and corn starch solution,the mass ratio of rice husk char(granular activated carbon)and corn starch,carbonization temperature,carbonization time of heat preservation;Design review indicators including product apparent density,bulk density,yield,compression strength and the saturated adsorption amount of benzene;The pyrolysis behavior of he raw material was characterized in the heating process by the TGA;the microstructure and surface morphology of the product was analyzed through X-ray Diffraction and Scan Electronic Microscope;the BET specific surface area,and by fitting the adsorption kinetics model analysis products for benzene adsorption mechanism.The main studies are as follows:Rice husk char as carbon source of forming carbon foam materials experimental results show that:(1)The optimal process conditions:Polyurethane Model for 40 ppi,corn starch addition amount of 10%(mass fraction),the mass ratio of Zinc oxide and corn starch solution is 5:200,the mass ratio of rice husk char and corn starch is 3:1,carbonization temperature is 400?,the carbonization time of heat preservation for 40 min.(2)The porosity of the product is rich,based with mesoporous and microporous,multilevel pore structure is neatly and orderly,and at the same time inside the product exits carbon crystallite structure and layered structure.(3)The product in the adsorption process of liquid benzene basically completed within the first 10 s,which indicates that the product has the characteristics of fast adsorption;The amount of saturated liquid benzene product was 5145 mg/g,which shows excellent adsorption properties of the product.Granular activated carbon as carbon source of forming of forming carbon foam materials experimental results show that:(1)The optimal process conditions:Polyurethane Model for 30 ppi,corn starch addition amount of 6%(mass fraction),the mass ratio of Zinc oxide and corn starch solution is 3:200,the mass ratio of rice husk char and corn starch is 1:3,carbonization temperature is 350?,the carbonization time of heat preservation for 50 min.(2)The yield is mainly between 40%and 60%,the bulk density is relatively large,about 0.4-0.6 g/cm3,ordered pore structure,abundant pore,pore structure is mainly in the mesoporous.(3)The amount of saturated liquid benzene product was 4873 mg/g,the adsorption process substantially completed within 100 s,which indicates the product in good adsorption performance.
