With the development of mobile phone, tablet, computer and LCD TV,the domestic demand for the LCD glass substrate is increasing rapidly. In the production of glass substrates, high efficiency and high yield are the key point to the manufacturing process. However, the domestic LCD glass substrates mainly depend on import. In order to protect the safety of the industry, developing glass panels' automated production and equipment research is one of important measures to improve the ecological situation of China's optoelectronics industry and the industrial chain.Based on the above background, this project relies on the actual project requirements of the East German Group to develop a set of production line control system of liquid crystal glass substrate and a design of rotary table equipment, which can work stably and reliably 24 hours,realizing automatic caching, inspection and packaging of LCD glass substrates. The main research object of this paper consists of two parts.Aiming at the control requirements of LCD glass substrate production line's equipment in every process and the requirements of the friendly human-computer interaction, the first part is to develop a complete set of practical control system to ensure the efficiency and safety of the production line. The second part is to design a rotary table equipment in glass substrate production line, which requires to rotate the glass substrate line through 180 degrees to complete the packaging needs.The first part is the design of PLC's LCD glass substrate's processing production line control system. PLC of Mitsubishi Q is used as the core of the production line control equipment. It has high reliability and simple programming. By using CC-LINK fieldbus technology, the modular control of the equipment can reduce the length of the control circuit to improve the communication efficiency and thus reduce the failure rate. It also designed part of the software (through the Mitsubishi programming software GX Developer for PLC control program ladder programming),selected hardware and allocated I / O address. The production line control system used the Mitsubishi GT 1595 touch screen as the man-machine interface of the production line to ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of the whole production line. Then the simulation and debugging of software and hardware were carried out, and the control system was validated.The second part is the design of rotary table equipment. According to the functional requirements and the design criteria of rotating table, the turntable equipment was overall designed. This equipment mainly includes the driving part, the rotation part and the frame part. As for the driving part,the servomotor principle and the selection method were introduced firstly,and the AC servo motor parameters were calculated in detail. Secondly,rotating part of the cylinder introduced the selection and theoretical calculation and the design and strength of the rotary axis analysis and bearing selection and verification, and finally according to the drive and rotate two parts. Finally, according to the drive and rotate two parts The design of the rack part is designed.The design of the control system of the production line illustrated the simulation and debugging of the system. After the theoretical calculation,the installation and debugging and the trial operation of the rotary table,the condition of the system being put into use was verified. The expected effect was achieved.
