With the development of cities,the demand for water environment in China is becoming increasingly strict,especially in sewage treatment.However,the sewage treatment plants in China are still faced with low sewage treatment capacity,low sewage operating control capacity,operation load failed to reach the design level.Therefore,it is of great significance to build the simulation model of the actual operation of the sewage treatment plant,and use this model to solve the problem of sewage treatment plant.Model simulation technology was first applied to the sewage treatment process in foreign countries,The parameters used in the model software are also aimed at the water quality of the foreign countries,The results of foreign software simulation can not be directly applied to domestic sewage treatment plant,a large number of relevant experiments are still needed to be applied to the simulation model of water quality in China.SBR process and Oxidation ditch process as our common sewage treatment process,with a flexible,stable operation,good water quality.This paper summarizes the characteristics of SBR process and Oxidation ditch process and the improved processes of sewage treatment plants in recent years,based on these two treatment processes.At the same time,in the comparatively analysis of SBR process and Oxidation ditch process of activated sludge biochemical reaction kinetics model such as Andrews model,Monod model and the ASM1 ASM2,ASM3(activated sludge No.1,No.2,No.3 model)proposed by the IWA(International Water Association)organization,In this paper,the activated sludge model 3 was chosen as the model of activated sludge system,And the model of Activated Sludge Model No.3 was simplified.The main parameters of the model and the measurement of the sewage composition are effectively solved.MATLAB as a programming language and visualization tool,with its massive functions to solve many problems in scientific computing and engineering application.SIMULINK as one of the most important components of MATLAB,which provides an integrated environment of dynamic system modeling,simulation and comprehensive analysis.This paper combining the reaction relationship of SBR process and Oxidation ditch process,using SIMULINK toolbox to build the simulation model of SBR process and Oxidation ditch process,simulating the historical data of sewage treatment plants and analyzing the COD factor in SBR process and Oxidation ditch process.In the operation of simulation model adjustingsome parameters according to specific conditions,The results show that the relative error between the simulated output data and the original data is within 5%,and the overall trend is also very close,it is proved that the simplified activated sludge model can simulate the SBR process and oxidation ditch process well.At present,some of the sewage treatment plants in our country adopt the new technology of SBR process and Oxidation ditch process or based on the improvement of these two processes.Through the simulation of the dynamic model of the two processes,it is found that the simulation results have little difference with the actual operating results,which verifies the reliability of the model.According to the characteristics of the sewage treatment plant water quality and equipment to modify the parameters,and then operating the model to predict the effluent of sewage treatment plant has a great significance on sewage treatment plant operation and cost planning.
