Sugar development is one of the mainstay industries in Guangxi.In the sugar industry pro cess,the main process includes the clarificationand the concentration of juice,the crystallizat ion and separation and other links.The measurement of sugar brix has a very significant effe ct on the various processes of sugar making,so it is very important for on-line real-time testing of sugar juic.Now,The enterprise more use of the scene to extract the juice samples.The staff membe rs extract samples from the scene,and then sent to the laboratory for its measurement.This pro cess is more considerations,Long measuring period,expensive and monitoring difficult.So it has a great influence to the effect of sugar production.In order to solve the cost and efficiency to improve productivity,an on-line detection inst rument for sugar brix has been developed.It is used to using the floating ball collection buoya ncy.The buoyancy acts on the Tedea load cell(bridge)through the lever,then the A/D conver ter magnifies the acquisition signal and sents to the CPU controller.Different brix call the data base by the controller conversion.The final result shows on the dot matrix display.The entire detection process using RS232 as a communication line.Hardware part by the switching powe r supply,controller Siemens PLC,AD analog modules,sensors,Kunlun on-state touch screen,fl oat,load cell(bridge),solenoid valve,Storage device,bottom valve,overflow pipe and other co mponents.Software part of the use of STEP7 as a PLC controller programming software,the u se of MCGS embedded software for the touch screen configuration screen configuration,displ ay and controller between the use of RS232 communication.Based on the above problems,the effective instrument is designed.It can improve the pr oduction efficiency,low system cost,and the late maintenance is convenient.On-line monitor ing avoids the direct contact mode.The error range is within 1.0Bx.System operation is simpl e,do not need to consume the sample.Online testing results can be displayed by dot matrix di splay.Compared with the professional instrument,the result error is less than 0.01%.It provid es a practical and reliable solutions for on-line detection of sugar brix...
