Study On The Chemical Constituents Of Pileostegia Tomentella Hand.-Mazz.

Pileostegia tomentella Hand.–Mazz is a member of the genus Pileostegia Hook.f.et Thoms.in the Saxifragaceae family.It is widely distributed mainly in the Guangxi,Guangdong,Fujian,Hunan.Some species of the genus have been used in traditional medicine.The whole Plant is used clinically for Anticancer,anti-inflammatory,anal-gesic and other activities.Traditional Yao medicine in the treatment of cancer was concerned by the medical profession.In the local hospital,Yao doctor often use as "tumor vine"(or "Xiaoliu vine")herbs for the treatment of various cancers.Has a very good therapeutic effect.However,there have been rare reports on the chemical constituents of Pileostegia tomentella Hand.–Mazz.In the thesis,chemical components from Pileostegia tom-entella Hand.–Mazz.are systematically studied,which resulted in the isolation of forty-one compounds from the roots of Pileostegia tomentella Hand.–Mazz.by vari-ous chromatographic methods.According to chemical and spectroscopic methods packed with 1H-NMR,13C–APT,13C-NMR,2D-NMR and HR-ESI-MS,the structures were identified as loganic acid(1),4-O-?-L-arabinofuranosyl-(1''?6')-?-D-glucopyranoside(4S)-4-hydroxyl-?-ionone(2),resorcinol(3),daphnin(4),skimmin(5),umbelliferone(6),vogeloside(7),diethyl phthalate(8),secologanin(9),secologanin dimethyl acetal(10),sweroside(11),foliasalacioside B(12),benzyl-O-?-D-apiofuranosyl-(1??6')-?-D-glucopyranoside(13),maltose(14),glucose(15),daucosterol(16),1-O-(?-D-glucosyl)-2-[2-methoxy-4-(?-hydroxypropyl)-phenoxy]-propan-3-ol(17),(+)-lyoniresinol-3a-O-?-D-glucopy-ranoside(18),syringin(19),coniferin(20),dihydroconiferin(21),but-3-enyl-?-D-glucoside(22),4-(2,3-dihydroxy propyl)-2,6-dimethoxy phenyl-?-D-glucopyranoside(23),nikoenoside(24),protocatechuic acid ethyl ester(25),8-methoxy coumarin-7-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(26),6-O-R-L-Rhamnopyranosyl-?-D-glucopyranoside of meth-yl salicylate(27),nicotinamide(28),3,5-di-O-caffeoyl quinicacid methyl ester(29),Alopecuquinone(30),Liriodendrin(31),2-Hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy phenyl)-1-(hydroxymethyl)ethyl-?-D-glucopyranoside(32),Eleutheroside B1(33),3-(4-hyd-roxy-3-methoxy-phenyl)-1,2,3-propantriol(34),dibutyl phthalate(35),Asper-gillu-sene A(36),isopimaric acid(37),shizukanolide E(38),?-sitosterol(39),2.5-dimet-hoxyresorcinol(40),taraxerol(41).In addition to compounds 5,6,16,19,26,39 were obtained from this genus for the first time,and all the compunds were obtained from this plant for the first time.The antitumor of some compounds wai syudied with MTT methods.Compounds5,6,7,9,10,18,26,33 showed strong activity.
