| Children are the hope of the motherland and every family.With the development of economy and the improvement of living standards,investment in children’s consumption gradually attracted people’s attention.According to a survey,in some big cities,such as Shanghai,Guangzhou and Beijing,the parents of children aged 0-12,spent more than 70%of the total household consumption on children’s food every month.These amount of money added up to between 13 and 14 billion Yuan a year.We can see that children’s food had a huge space for development in the domestic market through the figure.On the other hand,although enormous domestic food packaging had been significantly improved in terms of materials,colors,techniques,etc.,it ignored the children’s food packaging design,especially the use of color,and was still stuck in the traditional packaging levels,resulting in many color application problems.Therefore,despite the technological breakthroughs of the children’s food packaging,its visual design still blindly imitated so that it not only could not meet the needs of consumers and eras,but also affect our children’s food brand image.In the children’s food packaging design,color as an important design element,is the most important element that can affect purchasing power of consumers.Nowadays,packaging and people’s life are becoming increasingly closely,and consumers are more likely to be affected by the packaging design when they face the same chilren’s food.If the color of the children’s food packaging was relatively reasonable,it would be easier to get the favor of buyers.At present,the paper about food packaging mainly concentrated in the packaging materials and few researches is about the children’s food packaging.In this paper,color in the children’s food packaging design will be the research object.In order to show the charm of color in the children’s food packaging design,the color,the color language,the cultural context of color,the psychological attributes of color were systematically expounded in the second chapter.In the third chapter,the developments and changes of the children’s food packaging will be longitudinally analyzed from the past,present,and future.Apart from this,the children’s food packaging design is also classified and deep analyzed by three categories,the age,the design materials,and the design principles.The fourth chapter is the key part of the thesis,which mainly discusses the application of color in the children’s food packaging design.It focuses on the analysis of the features,technique of expression and performance of color in the children’s food packaging design.Chapter five mainly emphasized the future development trend of color in the children’s food packaging design.At the same time,the research on the color language will help us well understand the connection between the children’s food packaging and color application design.This paper analyzed the application of color in the children’s food packaging design to provide a positive visual impact on the children’s food business. |
