Study On Construction Contract Risk Management For Large-Scale Coal-to-Liquids Project Of A Company

The Coal-to-liquids Project of A Company is a world-class coal chemical project with largest investment in one time.It has the characteristics of complex technology,huge construction quantities,many management interfaces and high management difficulty.The total price of the construction contracts of Coal-to-Liquids Project accounted for a large percentage in the whole CAPEX of the Coal-to-Liquids Project.The effectiveness of managing the risk of construction contracts shall directly impact on the effect of the engineering construction of the Coal-to-Liquids Project.Therefore,the study on risk management of construction contracts shall,on the one hand,be useful to summarize the risk management experience from managing the construction contracts of Coal-to-Liquids Project,on the other hand,be beneficial to explore the helpful methods and means for construction contract risk management.By drawing on the current situation of studying on domestic and foreign construction contract risk management,this paper makes the construction contracts risk management of Coal-to-Liquids Project as the study object,through referring to document literature,applying the methods of field survey and interview in project participators,from the perspective of owner and standing in the whole process of construction contracts risk management as the starting point,and uses the risk analysis criteria and evaluation criteria in Economic Intrinsic Safety System of A company to focus on discussing and analyzing the critical problems in the bidding phase and contract performance phase of construction project,and lays out the risk assessment list and puts forward some main control measures for construction contract risk management,based on the relevant theories of construction contract risk management and combined with the content and status of construction contracts risk management of Coal-to-Liquids Project.Hope this paper has some certain affect and reference value for the construction contract risk management of the subsequent coal chemical project of A company.
