In recent years,there are more and more EPC contract model to take all kinds of industry engineering and construction project,and many owners and contractors in China gradually start to favor and want to use this advanced engineer contractor model,EPC means that EPC contractor should perform the detailed engineering,procurement,fabrication,construction,installation,pre-commissioning,commissioning and start-up of all component parts of project scope,and EPC contractor should be responsibility for the quality,safety,deadline and cost etc.For the present,many large enterprises go foreign to undertake large project with EPC contract model,but many enterprises are not familiar with EPC contract model and manage method,so many of them cannot run the project good enough and make engineering,procurement and construction are out of step to each other and impact to each other.At last the total cost and deadline will be broke because of the above cause,and take so many lessons.So it is necessary to continue study and search for more efficiency method to run the EPC project and keep them in control condition.This paper chooses the EPC general contract project of ABU dhabi M project as the research object.M project is an international engineering project.There are many management problems during the implementation process.This paper analyzes these problems in detail and puts forward some countermeasures.The thesis is mainly divided into the following six chapters.Chapter 1: Introduce.Introduce the background and significance of the topic selection,overview of project management research at China and abroad,main research ideas,technical routes and main methods of research.Chapter 2: Related theoretical overview.Overview of the basic concepts and theories of EPC general contracting.Briefly introduces the management,risk management of the three stages comprising design,construction and procurement of general contracting.Chapter 3: Abu Dhabi M project management's situation and problems.Introduces the project overview of the Abu Dhabi M project,the company's profile and the corresponding organizational structure and M project organization structure,and describes the role and development trend of the company's foreign employees' employment and management for overseas EPC projects.Analyze management problems in various stages of M project design,procurement,construction,etc.,as well as risk management issues and problems in the management of foreign employees.Chapter 4: Analyzes of Abu Dhabi M project management problems.Analyze the main causes of problems from design management,procurement management,construction management and risk management.Chapter 5: Countermeasures and Advices of Abu Dhabi M project management problems.Explore the solutions to the EPC general contract project management from the aspects of project management organization,engineering management,procurement management,construction management,risk management and cross-culture management.Chapter 6: Conclusions.
