As an important chemical material,butadiene is the main raw material for the production of styrene butadiene rubber,nitrile rubber.There are two commercial processes for butadiene,oxidative dehydrogenation method and cracking carbon four extraction method.The carbon four extraction method is more economical.The main raw of traditional method is petroleum cracking carbon four.With the development of coal chemical industry,the coal based carbon four raw is becoming and demanded.This paper discusses the coal based carbon four acetonitrile extraction method based on the requirement of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Company.And the method is achieved industry using.The follows are main research and work.According to the company's raw materials and Shenhua Ningxia coal product requirements,this paper carried out the butadiene production process technology development.Based on the solubility of different groups of coal based carbon four in the cracking in the solvent and the relative volatility difference,the two steps extraction and distillation are adopted.There are two steps extracting distillation,two distillation and distillation of refined products with the recovery of solvent.According to the separation requirement,the key groups and the target of each unit of towers are be determined,the material balance calculation,process calculation and diameter calculaiton of towers is carried.The detail calculation of tower is determined.According to the material corrosion,self-aggregation tendency and the operation requirements and economic components,the tower the material is determined.On the basis,the tower system operating conditions were determined and the process flow diagram(PFD)is completed design.Based on the process,the industrial process is optimized.There are most important calculations which are completed,including material balance,steam and other utilities consumption,energy consumption.The flow chart of common materials(UFD)is completed.In the process,the design process detailed,process piping and instrumentation flow chart(PID)and utility piping and instrument diagram(UID)are designed more detail.The process equipment layout and facade and the process equipment layout are designed.According to the core characteristics of the equipment,the core material and equipment selected,the structure of core equipment design is completed.The process extraction technology of butadiene in the coal based carbon four achieved industrial application in Shenhua Ningxia Coal Company.
