The traditional polyurethane foam is widely used in construction,medical,automotive and other fields because of its good physical and chemical properties.In addition,the polyurethane foam has a unique porous structure,use its special structure to explore the function of absorbing energy in production and life of the future also has the very big potential.In order to broaden the application field of polyurethane,make polyurethane foam more widely used,it is often need to increase the strength of the polyurethane foam,and to improve its performance in heat insulation,which mainly by adding all kinds of nano inorganic filler into the substrate.Graphene has enjoyed significant attention recent years,Graphene is konwn as emerging materials because of its good strength,hardness,high thermal conductivity,the characteristics of high modulus and widespread attention by people.Few and single-layer graphene nanosheets were first obtained by mechanical exfoliation of bulk graphite and by epitaxial chemical vapor deposition.These methods can be less effective for mass production.In order to make filling in the polyurethane foam play a better role,and better play to the graphene its features,this experiment will use graphene as inorganic fillers added to the polyurethane matrix.But because of the graphene surface chemical properties not lively and reunion phenomenon is extremely easy to occur,this topic made the graphene oxided and do some surface modification,the modification of graphene oxide to participate in the polyurethane foam foam reaction process,finally,the polyurethane foam was modified.First of all,through the multiple comparison test to determine the basic formula in the process of polyurethane foaming ratio of raw materials,and the different formulations of polyurethane foam for bubble hole shape and foam density test,concluded that the ratio of water consumption will affect the size of the bubble size,the change of the catalyst can affect the density of the foam and foaming ratio,emulsifier added will affect the foaming reaction which affects the bubble wall thickness and density.Second,by using Hummers method acidification oxidation graphene for graphene oxide,the graphene oxide was then modified by isophorone isocyanate(IPDI).By using Fourier infrared spectrum,Raman test,X-ray scanning,scanning electron microscope,XPS method for characterizing the product.The results show that the successful preparation of graphene oxide and its modification.At the same time,by changing the reaction time and quantity of IPDI add ultimately determine the best formula and technology.Finally,the modified graphene oxide ultrasonic dispersion in isocyanate to participate in polyurethane foam reaction,at the same time the graphene oxide ultrasonic dispersion in deionized water to involved in polyurethane foam reaction.And eventually the two kinds of samples made test for the mechanical,thermal and acoustic performance.Test results show that addition of graphene oxide and modified graphene oxide into polyurethane foam can effect on uniformity of pore structure,but because of isocyanate modification of graphene oxide to join will make less damage to the basic structure of the polyurethane foam,bubble pore structure is relatively stable;modification of graphene oxide added into polyurethane foam has a lagerer glass transition temperature of the soft segment,the influence of the energy storage modulus also has improved greatly;Fill the modified graphene oxide into polyurethane foam make the compression strength increases first and then fall down,The compressive strength of the composites reached the maximum of 0.77 MPa,which improved by 28.33%,the IPDI/GO of the composites is only 0.5%.,while join the graphene oxide into polyurethane foam make the compression strength decreases directly;A significant increase of sound absorption behavior is observed in foam composites compared with the conventional ones,especially at frequencies range from 3000 to 4000 Hz.;Coefficient of thermal conductivity along with the increase in modification of graphene oxide addition amount has increased slightly,but with increased with the amount of the addition of graphene oxide and decreases.Through test can observe,compared with the graphene oxide after filling modification effect of polyurethane foam,modified the addition of graphene oxide can make polyurethane foam is more excellent mechanical,thermal and acoustic performance.
