Circulating cooling water system is the essential part for heat transfer of large-scale installations, widely used in a papermaking, steel, electricity and other industrial fields. However, the pipes and other devices of circulating cooling water system are facing the problem of scaling, which will not only cause corrosion of equipment, reduce heat transfer efficiency, but also cause energy waste, increase operating costs. In order to solve the problem of scaling in circulating cooling water system, this issue is committed to design a variable frequency electromagnetic water treatment system based on STM32. Frequency conversion of the electromagnetic field can make the water molecules in the pipeline resonance phenomenon, thus preventing the scaling. In addition, the electromagnetic field can also play a role in sterilization and algae destruction of water. Moreover, the system can reduce the operation cost, and is convenient to use and does not pollute the environment.Therefore, the variable frequency electromagnetic water treatment technology becomes an important development direction in the field of water treatment in the future.This paper introduces the working mechanism of frequency conversion electromagnetic water treatment technology in anti-scale and descaling. According to the deficiency of the electromagnetic scale inhibition equipment in the past, the overall design scheme of the variable frequency electromagnetic water treatment system is completed. In order to overcome the problem that the coil current is unstable when the frequency changes, the controllable power supply is designed for the power amplifier module. The current feedback closed loop control is used to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the coil current. In addition, the modular design method is adopted in this system. The system can be run automatically according to the scale inhibition effect.In order to meet the requirements of different water quality and pipeline specifications, a fuzzy control algorithm is designed according to the existing expert experience. Then use MATLAB to simulate it. So that the system can output the optimal frequency range. After the pipe diameter is determined, the system can automatically adjust the frequency according to the detected water hardness and flow rate, so as to achieve the best scale inhibition effect.In order to verify the application effect of the frequency conversion electromagnetic water treatment system, the scale inhibition experiment is carry on on the prototype. And look for the insufficiency of the system repeatedly in the experiment process. Then optimize the design of this system. Through the field test verification, the system has been able to work steadily. And there are obvious scale effect. The water treatment system designed in this paper has a wide range of applications. It really realizes zero pollution to the environment. And it greatly reduces operating costs. Its application prospects are better.
