At present,the needs for sintering equipment is going higher along with the development of our national iron and steel industry.As one important equipment for raw materials feeders in blast furnace,the sintering machine becomes more important.The main jobs of sintering trolley include loading,lighting the fire,sintering and evacuating agglomerate from the tail.Thus the working condition of sintering trolley will directly affect the quality of agglomerate.This paper introduced arching phenomenon of carriage trolley in Lurgi belt-type sintering machine tail and used 360m2 belt-type sintering machine as an example,made some adjustments in the key parts to weaken the arching phenomenon.For solving the arching problem totally,this paper analyzed the arching phenomenon from the view of mechanics,providing theoretical reference for designing similar belt-type sintering machine.This paper first calculated basic parameters of belt-type sintering machine,including effective sintering area,running speed of trolley,center distance from head to tail,trolley numbers and so on.Then considering the working theory of trolley in the sintering machine tail,this paper introduced some key parts design and analysis of belt-type sintering machine,including structure design of trolley,tail's star wheel design and analysis,pathway design of trolley and so on.The purpose was to efficiently keep the trolley in normal working condition and lower the arching phenomenon.During annual repairing time,by changing horizontal pathway,the head part,curved rail in the tail,tail star tooth plate and adding simple arching rectifying device,the arching phenomenon was effectively relieved.Second,for solving the arching problem totally,this paper used 360m2 belt-type sintering machine as an example,built up mechanical model of trolley surface based on structure design and explained fundamental reasons from mechanical aspect and obtained the threshold of force control from model mechanical analysis.At last,according to the comparison of the arching phenomenon before and after the annual repairing,the simple arching rectifying device was proved to be useful to control the trolley arching,which gave out a method for adjustment of trolley arching phenomenon later.
