As the main manufacturing equipment which produces the blast rawmaterials, the belt-type sintering machine develops with the development ofthe modern steel industry and is becoming more important. The traditionalbelt-type sintering machine for the insufficiency of the structure andtransmission principle, leading to the pallet car’ volatility fluctuate and aso-called phenomenon named arching when it works, this problem willcause the abrasion at the side bottom of every pallet car then result in a largemass of air leakage, these defects affected the quantity and quality of sinterseriously. For solving those problems,The subject relies on the NationalNatural Science Foundation The research on design theory of the mainmotion system in the sintering machine without arching to research thoseproblems.First of all, based on the theory of the existing new type sinteringmachine’s sprocket wheel, to optimize the profile curve. getting thetransition section of the composite gear profile that can make the pallet carhave no impact in the pursuing and pulling the seam. The new star wheel design formulation is improved, getting the ideal profile curve equation, andanalysis the tooth profile characters, theoretically verified the feasibility ofthe new profile.Second, the model of the sintering machine is built. Making use ofADAMS, the new type sintering machine’s virtual prototype is established.Through the new type sintering machine’s movement and dynamicssimulation, the feasibility of the new sprocket wheel is further verified, andthe design requirement can be satisfied.Third, Using ANSYS software to sintering machine tailgate of thethermal structure coupling analysis, obtained the tailgate in the mechanicaland thermal load deformation nephogram, on the length direction of palletdeformation introduced to the design of star wheel, so that eliminates thedrive locked phenomenon caused by the pallet deformation.Lastly, The core component of the sintering machine star wheel wascoupled thermal and mechanical analysis, obtained the star wheel that in themechanical load and thermal load of the stress strain value, and in the lightof it to repaired it’s type, For eliminating the phenomenon of flash. Inaddition, in order to the star wheel repairing type for the drive imprecisioncaused by thermal load, which provides a certain reference.
