Preparation And Related Properties Of Polyurethane Resin Used For Mosquito-Repellent Polyurethane Fiber

Polyurethane fiber,an elastic fiber,is now widely used in garment and fabric field.With the requirements of mosquito repellence for outdoor work,such as fishing and field military training in summer,the research and development in mosquito-repellent polyurethane fiber has been attracted increasing attention recently.In this thesis,based on the inclusion effect of ?-Cyclodextrin(?-CD),?-CD/essential oil from Artemisia argyi(EOAA)inclusion complexes with mosquito-repellent function were prepared via saturated aqueous solution method.Polyurethane resin used for mosquito-repellent polyurethane fiber was prepared by adding ?-CD/EOAA inclusion complex into polyurethane fiber spinning solution.The main research contents and conclusions are listed as follow:?-CD/EOAA inclusion complexes were prepared by using ?-CD and EOAA as row materials.The oil content of the inclusion complexes was measured by UV spectrometry.The oil content of inclusion complex reached highest value of 11.2%,when the volume(ml)/mass(g)ratio of EOAA to ?-CD was 1:4,and the inclusion process was conducted at 50?.The prepared inclusion complexes were characterized by Infrared Spectrum(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA).The results indicated that hydrogen bonds formed between the host and guest,and packing structure was transformed into channel-type structure.What's more,thermal stability of ?-CD was improved.Mosquito repellence experiment was adopted to evaluate the mosquito-repellent performance of inclusion complex and the result revealed that the inclusion complex had good mosquito-repellent ability.A series of mosquito-repellent polyurethane resins with different content of inclusion complexes were prepared by introducing the inclusion complexes into polyurethane.The effect of the inclusion complex content on the properties of polyurethane resin was investigated by mechanical property test,dynamic mechanical analys is,SEM,and TGA.The results showed that the dispersion of inclusion complex in polyurethane resin was good.The mechanical properties and thermal stability of the modified polyurethane resins were also improved by intr oducing of ?-CD/EOAA inclusion complexes.The results of rheological test proved that the addition of inclusion complex had little effect on the rheological behavior of the polyurethane spinning solution,and could be spun into fiber normal spinning condit ion.The results of mosquito-repellent test evaluated that the mosquito-repellent rate of the prepared polyurethane resin was 65%,reached good level of mosquito-repellent evaluation.
