In this paper,EPDM based rubber composites were prepared and their properties were studied,by changing the types of antioxidants,the type and amount of filler to examine a series of performance of EPDM.Firstly,this paper studied the effects of RD / 445,RD / AS and RD / NBC systems on the mechanical properties and thermal aging properties of EPDM were investigated under different conditions of 0.5 / 1 ratio.The results showed that the protective effect of antioxidant NBC was better,and the basic mechanical properties of the two antioxidants were maintained at the level of the original anti-aging agent.RD / NBC(0.5/1)had the best protective performance to EPDM.The longer the aging time,the better protective performance are.Secondly,this paper studied the effects of modified carbon nanotubes on the adhesion and mechanical properties of EPDM were investigated.The dispersion properties of the modified carbon nanotubes were investigated.The results show that when the modified carbon nanotubes are 6 parts when the content of zinc acrylate is 12,the bonding performance is best,the extraction force of copper wire is 725 N,the tear strength is 73.85 N · mm-1,Tensile strength is 22.2MPa.With the increase of modified carbon nanotubes,the viscosity increases,the processing performance decreases and the Payne effect increases.Third,the effects of 3mm aramid fiber,1mm aramid fiber and 3mm aramid fiber / basalt fiber and 1mm aramid fiber / basalt fiber on the properties of EPDM were studied.The results show that with the increase of the performance of the aramid fiber,the Mooney viscosity increases,the dispersion of the aramid fiber decreases gradually in the compound,the tensile strength decreases,the tear strength increases,the abrasion resistance rises and falls,The external dynamic disturbance ability is improved,and the lateral dynamic stiffness is large and the longitudinal dynamic stiffness.The mechanical properties of EPDM were the best when the amount of aramid fiber was 5-10 parts.1mm Aramid fiber reinforced EPDM better than the same amount of 3mm aramid fiber reinforced EPDM comprehensive mechanical properties.Lastly,The effects of basalt fiber obtained from high blending on the properties of EPDM were studied and the effect of ultrasonic assisted silane coupling agent modified basalt fiber on the properties of EPDM was studied.The results show that with the increase of EPDM processing performance,comprehensive mechanical property data and cost analysis of high-mixed basalt fiber,the performance of EPDM in 10-15 parts of high-mixed modified fiber under certain conditions of performance The best performance of high-mixed basalt fiber is better than that of high-mixed aramid fiber.The results show that the silane coupling agent KH550 can increase the roughness of the basalt fiber surface and improve the compatibility and binding force between the basalt fiber and the compound.The use of ultrasonic assisted method can improve the KH550 for basalt fiber modification,to increase its roughness,more conducive to the combination of basalt fiber and EPDM,comprehensive physical and mechanical properties have improved significantly,and better than high-mixed basalt fiber filled EPDM Physical machinery,it is also a good way to enhance the modification.
