As an important personnel respiratory protective equipment,gas mask is concerned and valued all over the world with respect to design and research.But nowadays China still designs firstly and then processes development procedure of gas mask,at last traditional design method of experimental measurement greatly increases time and cost of development of gas mask.A new technology method is presented in this paper to cope with this problem,CAE is applied in development method of gas mask,which replaces previous procedure of process andexperimental measurement,to further cut down time of development of gas mask,decreases cost of design.Assembling of air tightness and firmness on veil of gas mask is studied in this paper,research method adopted firstly based on assembling procedure of each connector,analyzes its CAE,them compares analysis of physical experiment and of CAE,ensure accuracy of CAE.At last analyzes CAE of change of some structure size during processing,make sure if air tightness and firmness of each connector are reasonable.Provide technical support to design of gas mask.This paper will analyze CAE of assembling air tightness and firmness of connectors of three parts named coupling,major speaker and eyes window of gas mask through researching filtered mask.Contents of the research as follow:1.Through the description of the constitutive model of rubber material,the constitutive model of rubber cover material is Mooney-Rivlin 2 parameter model.According to the uniaxial tensile test of the rubber material,the stress-strain curve was obtained.The experimental data were fitted by the least square method,and the parameters of the Mooney-Rivlin 2 parameter rubber constitutive model were obtained.Finally,through the Ansys Workbench platform,using the rubber constitutive model parameters of uniaxial tensile test was simulated.The constitutive model can accurately reflect the characteristics of the rubber material through the analysis of the simulation data and experimental data.2.Take stress distribution of rubber cover as criteria of assembling of air tightness of veil,analyze CAE of air tightness assembling on connector to obtain stress distribution of rubber cover through standard assembling procedure of coupling and major speaker,make sure that simulation method is correct through contrastive analysis of experimental test data and simulation data,assembling air tightness of coupling and major speak are qualified after parametric variation through changing thickness parameter of rubber cover in model.Secondly take joint strength of snap joint as criteria of firmness,CAE of assembling firmness of coupling and major speaker,obtain adequate boss height is 0.9mm—1.1mm.At last analyze CAE of assembling air tightness and firmness of eye windows to discover firmness of some places is poor and then present modification scheme,thicken rubber cover,and then analyzes CAE,ensure that the modification scheme is correct through stress distribution of veil,then take joint strength of bolt as criteria of firmness of eye windows,check joint strength of bolt of standard eye windows and modified eye windows,ensure that assembling firmness of eye windows is qualified.
