Two-high cold-rolling pilger mill is a kind of periodic working system in the cold-rolling process with a variable circular cross-section dies.Cold-rolling pilger mill is widely used in the Aircraft,instrumentation,automotive,nuclear power,boilers and other fields.In the cold-rolled pipe production industry,cold-rolling process has the typical characteristics of nonlinear three-dimensional,so it is very difficult for the physical test directly on the rolling mill.Based on the above problems,develop the application of the cold-rolling pilger mill forming virtual simulation system,which includes pass design,the dynamic calculation of the main drive system and the simulation of the cold-rolling process.It can avoid the physical prototype production,reduce the cost and shorten the design cycle.It also provides a good software platform for the research on the dynamics and processing characteristics of cold rolling mill.The main research contents include the following aspects:First,establish the non-linear FEM analysis model of rolling.Based on the typical specification,this paper the dimensional precision was predicted,stress state of cold rolling and the flow law of mental are analyzed and the mechanics parameter curves of frames were given in this paper.All these provide theoretical guidance for the production practice of cold pilger rolling.Secondly,through series of simulations for changing the pass and steel tube parameters,the influence factors of the spread rule are researched,it is concluded that the circumference coefficient and the wall thickness coefficient are the main influencing factors,regression function is obtained using linear regression analysis method,it has an important influence on optimizing pass design.Thirdly,pass design is the key technology of the cold-rolling mill technology.The rationality of pass design has an important influence on the dimension accuracy,surface roughness and production efficiency.The current theory of pass design is generally based on Sheva roll pass design method and MEER roll pass design method in our country,but these methods are not suitable for large diameter hole,With the help of computer aided design method to optimize the method of Sheva roll pass design method,it opens a new way for the pass design.Finally,the cold-rolling pilger mill forming virtual simulation system is developed by the processing characteristics,the secondary development technology of SolidWorks and MSC.Marc in the Visual Basic programming platform,which includes pass design,the dynamic calculation of the main drive system and the simulation of the cold-rolling process.This research will play an important role in the cold-rolled steel pipe industrial production,and will also have a considerable influence on the development and technological advances of the cold-rolled steel pipe industry.It will truly have a great value for theory refining and practical use.
