Due to high fatigue strength,light weight and easy manufacturing,pre-stress wirewound technology has been widely used in forming machines,such as free-forging hydraulic press,die-forging hydraulic press,hydraulic extrusion press and so on.With the increasing demanding for forgings with higher quality,designing small and medium-sized forging press is becoming an important research direction.Based on the pre-stressed steel wire spiral wound theory,this dissertation applies prestressed steel wire technology to die forging hydraulic press design,presenting the preliminary scheme of the body structure of 50 MN wire-wound die forging hydraulic press as well as determines the main parameters of the press.Strength and stiffness of the main parts are also calculated and checked.Steel wire spiral wound layers of the body structure are designed and calculated.The initial stress,the numbers and the width of the layers are determined.For the problem of wire-wound frame finite element calculation consuming huge time,one formula is derived,which the pres-tress on semicircle beam can be transformed equivalently into uniformly distributed surface pressure.Preload condition and synthetic conditions equivalent surface pressure equation is established.The time cost of the finite element calculation is sharply reduced.Finite element numerical simulation of multiple statically indeterminate wire-wound frame structure is realized.ANSYS Workbench is used to statics analysis for the parts of hydraulic press.The strength and stiffness of the column and semicircle beam are checked.If one of which cannot meet requirement,the improved design scheme wound be put forward.Statics analyses wound again be made by ANSYS Workbench,so as to obtain a satisfying design program.Based on structural optimization design theory,a mathematical model of structural optimization is put forward.The design variables,constraint functions and target functions are confirmed.With the help of the structural optimization module of ANSYS Workbench,the opening hole optimization of size and location of semicircle beam is realized.Thestructure weight is reduced.
