Coal industry is a basic industry for promoting China's economic development and social progress.Coal mine security has become increasingly serious and natural disasters frequently happen.Roof,gas,coal dust,fire and flood are five disasters in coal mines,especially fire.Ninety-three percent of fires are caused by coal spontaneous combustion.Mine fire poses a serious threat to safe operation and endangers employees' life;therefore,prevention and eradication of mine fire and subsequent disasters are important.Consequently,it is vital to find a reasonable,easily operative inhibitor with satisfactory results so as to provide theoretical support for inhibition of coal spontaneous combustion.By making an analysis of coal spontaneous combustion,combined with relevant professional knowledge,chose four common kinds of inorganic phosphorus compounds with difference in inhibitory mechanisms,and conducted a series of experiments with samples of fat coal at Fangezhuang and samples of gas coal at Jinggezhuang.Firstly,selecting indicator gas and examining the emission law according to temperature points of production and mutation.Then by FTIR,an analysis has been made of the inhibitory impact of inorganic phosphorus compounds on coal spontaneous combustion,according to changes of-OH,aliphatic,aromatic hydrocarbon,and oxygen functional groups in coal after addition of inhibitors.Later,by EPR,changes of spectral line graphs,factor and free radical concentration increasing with temperature during inhibition of natural coal oxidation.Finally an experiment for synchronous thermal analysis DSC-TG has been conducted and temperature points of coal samples before and after inhibition and changes of thermal properties have been explored.Through analysis of results above,an exploration has been made macrocosmically and microcosmically of various phases of oxidation and inhibition during coal spontaneous combustion and the inhibitory impact of inorganic phosphorus compounds upon coal spontaneous combustion.It has practical significance for prevention and control of oxidation of coal spontaneous combustion.
