There are abundant vanadium titanium magnetite in China,so ore resource price is far lower than the price of ordinary iron ore concentrate and vanadium products.The low temperature reduction degradation index decreases significantly,resulting in the furnace hanging phenomenon,with an effect on improving the technical and economic indexes of blast furnace production.In order to improve the parameters of vanadium and titanium magnetite sintering,the sintering cup experiment was carried out.The result showed that the sinter low temperature reduction degradation significantly improved with the increase of carbon content,but the carbon content will be not conducive to the improvement of the drum strength when the carbon content is over the optimum value.The performance index of sinter improved with the increase of basicity.Low temperature reduction degradation significantly improved with the increase of MgO,on the contrary,drum strength,yield and other indicators deteriorated.Low temperature reduction degradation and reduction behavior improved with some FMG powder.The influence degree of the four factors on the low temperature reduction degradation from strong to weak: MgO,carbon,FMG,basicity.The regression model and neural network model were established.Sinter phase analysis showed that the sinter metal phase is Fe3O4,bond is SFCA and dicalcium silicate.Interlaced erosion structure is in the sinter which is formed by different amounts of perovskite and magnetite.The magnetite is bonded by SFCA and dicalcium silicate.The perovskite increased when the effective binder phase decreases,that is the main factors which make the low temperature reduction degradation and the drum strength deteriorate.Suitablesintering process parameters is that the optimum carbon content should be controlled at the range from 3.0% to 3.2%(FeO10%~11%);basicity is in the range from 1.85 to 1.95;the content of MgO is about 3.5%;FMG powder adding dosed should be controlled in about 10%.
