Metal-Organic Frameworks(MOFs)have been widely studied for their various properties of porosity, catalytic and optical properties, and chirality in particular for applications in separation processes such as the separation of small gas molecules, hydrocarbon compounds, inorganic anions,or even bulky organic ions. The selective adsorption and chemical stability of MOFs have also made these materials useful for gas chromatography(GC)and liquid chromatography.Recently,MOFs have been revealed to be prospective stationary phases for gas chromatographic(GC)separation. In order to overcome the poor resolution on MOFs packed columns, which arises from the considerable diffusion resistance of bulky packing,MOF-coated capillary columns have been reported to offer improved separation efficiency in thin coatings.Although separation is one of the most promising applications of such materials, only a handful of examples have been reported to date, especially being used in stationary phases in gas chromatography separation. This study intends to start from the structure of compounds to be separated correlation between our MOFs special sites, can be controlled to produce a series of chiral metal-organic frameworks with permanent pore structure,as gas chromatography stationary phase and preparation of MOF-coated capillary column for the exploration of high resolution gas chromatography. The main contents are summarized as follows:1.A permanent porosities MOF [Zn2(bdc)(L-Lac)(DMF)]·(DMF)(L-lac = L-lactate)with open chiral channels was synthesized, and it was desolvated into coordinately unsaturated [Zn2(bdc)(L-Lac)] with exceptional porosity of roughly 10 ? diameter, which was coated capillary columns as a novel stationary phase for GC.It has been demonstrated that this capillary column gives good selectivity for the separation of monoterpenoids with different functional groups.Besides, further experiments have showed that this capillary column has wide application in separation of functional groups(R-OH,H-C(R)=O,C(RR')=O,HO-(R)C=O,R-O-(R')C=O,R-O-R')substituted linear alkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, cyclic hydrocarbons. The high-resolution separation and detection of these monoterpenes provided an opportunity to analyze the relationship between molecular structure, physical properties, and intermolecular forces, which are also of interest in food, medicine, flavor and material science.2.A planar Mn4 O cluster homochiral metal-organic Framework(Me2NH2)2[Mn4O(D-Cam)4]·(H2O)5 and it was desolvated into [Mn4O(D-Cam)4]2-used as a new chiral stationary phase for gas chromatographic separation. It has been demonstrated that this capillary column gives good selectivity for the separation of monoterpenoids with different functional groups.Besides, further experiments have showed that this capillary column has wide application in separation of functional groups(R-OH,H-C(R)=O,C(RR')=O,HO-(R)C=O,R-O-(R')C=O,R-O-R')substituted linear alkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, cyclic hydrocarbons.3.A manganese homochiral metal-organic Framework materials: the [Mn3(HCOO)4(D-Cam)]n with homochiral layer, which was coated capillary columns as a novel stationary phase for GC.It has been demonstrated that the MOF-coated capillary column exhibited good performance for the separation of six series of compounds with different functional groups(R-OH,H-C(R)=O,C(RR')=O,HO-(R)C=O,R-O-(R')C=O,R-O-R')substituted linear alkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, cyclic hydrocarbons.
