During the induction furnace melting cycle,all the liquid metal would be scrapped,and the induction coil would be burnt,when the furnace leakage accident occurred,even lead to personal injury or death.According to incomplete statistics,there have tens of millions losses which because of furnace leakage accident of all the country each year.In order to prevent furnace leakage accidents,and ensure the safety in production,it s very necessary for the induction furnace to have a leakage alarm devices.Existing domestic conventional induction furnace leak fiunace alarm device number of issues,such as the installation process complexity,low accuracy,frequent false alarms,they will directly affect the status of the induction furnace normal production,In this thesis,we have a new induction furnace leak furnace alarm device,which installation process is simple and accurate.The device has an induction furnace lining thickness monitoring and furnace lining leakage alarm two functions,the main works,induction furnace melting metal charge is connected to the bottom electrode,between the bottom electrode and the induction coil to join the DC power supply,measuing furnace lining between the bottom electrode and the leakage current of the induction coil,calculated resistance lining,by electromagnetic stirring force acts in the course of induction furnace,the charge is continuously eroded lining erosion thin,the resistance becomes smaller,by a large number of field test data,a lining simulation function of the minimum thickness and resistance to achieve the monitoring function by measuring the thickness of the lining resistance value;erosion occurs when the lining is leaking furnace,molten metal charge penetrate into the induction coil,induction coil conductive bottom electrode,lining resistance quickly reduced,enabling the furnace lining leakage alarm.This means combining induction furnace lining resistance measuring ambient electromagnetic interference strength,loop current and other characteristics,We chose chip ATMEGA128A-AU,which as a master chip achieves a leak furnace alarm and low resistance value alarm,LCD and other external output function.At the same time,also has a time recording,alarm recording,the resistance level of circulation records and other internal logging capabilities.After several field experiments,the install process of the device is simple,low cost,high accuracy,reliable results.
