The semi-submersible platform is an important carrier of oil and gasexploration and development,the most important ofplatform is the column structure which connects platform deck and hull to maintain stability and places some key driving and control equipments.In addition,the research of weave compensation system is one of the key technologies to maintain the stability of the deck on platform in the sea,so it requires a combination of active wave compensation technologies with a new column structure to design an active heave compensation system so that the deck can keep steady all the time.Based on the existing semi-submersible platform,a flexible column semi-submersible platform which could be able to work in the sea about 3500 m was designed and calculated by using AQWA software,the results could be used as a prerequisite for the exploiture of wave compensation system.The specific research contents were as follows:(1)This paper introduced the background and significance of this study and described the research status as well as development trend of active wave compensation system at home and abroad.(2)According to ship and offshore design specifications,the deepwater flexible columnsemi-submersible platform was designed including platform structure,flexible columns,external connections and column structure strength analysis which was a key technology for further plan of platform and provided reasonable foundation for the follow-up platform hydrodynamic model.(3)This paper described the water dynamics theory and method,mainly including all kinds of marine environmental loads.According to the size parameters of the platform,the water dynamics model was established.The model of hydrodynamic data submitted to the AQWA solver belong to ANSYS,the datas for hydrodynamic characteristicswere acquired which could provide the prerequisite for the subsequent design of wave compensation system.(4)In order to keep the platform deck stablely all the time in the sea,the active wave system was projected based on flexible column structure.This system mainly includes mechanical systems and control systems.The mechanical execution systems were designed depending on the hydraulic cylinder selections and effective arrangements,the mathematical model was established of the hydraulic system in that got the transfer function;And the control system used PID with the combination of AMESim-Simulink which provided the reference for the building of test platform.(5)On the basis of the above-mentioned study,the test system was built.The experimental system consists of wave simulation devices,semi-submersible platform scaled model,flexible columns(hydraulic systems),man-machine interface and ipc.Through the selections of the test system hardware and the software program,the deck of the test platform with dead time compensation hydraulic cylinder was kept stablely.
