Cylindrical printing nickel screen is the key component of rotary screen printing machine.The breakage of the printing nickel screen will affect the quality and efficiency of printing.Therefore,the service life of the cylindrical printing nickel screen directly affects the normal production of the rotary screen printing machine,and the preparation of the high-performance cylindrical printing nickel screen is the key to obtain greater economic benefits.At present,the best quality of cylindrical printing nickel screen in the world is STORK company in Holland.The company’s cylindrical printing nickel screen has good structure,stable performance and long service life,and can be used for more times.There are more than 60 domestic manufacturers of nickel screen printing machine.But so far,we know little about the structure and properties of cylindrical printed nickel screen,which is limited to the opening rate,thickness and surface glossiness of nickel screen.The method of different meshes cylindrical printing nickel screen for microstructure analysis by chemical analysis,X ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and other materials,and we compare their mechanical properties.The results show that the cylindrical printing nickel screen content 99.69% nickel and which is typical fcc structure;with the increase of mesh,mesh shape changed from hexagonal structure to circular structure,and the size of nickel screen mesh were decreased;The two plating layer of STORK nickel screen have delamination phenomenon,and the coating appears annular growth more compact,but the domestic nickel screen only occurs in the second plating layer lamination phenomenon,the annular growth is relatively loose;The grain orientation of different kinds of nickel screen nickel screen is different,the grain of A company of 125 mesh nickel screen and STORK of 125 mesh nickel screen has no obvious preferred orientation.The domestic A company showed obvious(200)preferred orientation without 125 mesh nickel nickel screen,105 mesh and 125 mesh nickel screen of domestic B company nickel screen showed(200)preferred orientation;six samples of domestic A company fracture morphology were composed of different size dimple,105 mesh and 125 mesh nickel screen specimen appeared flat fracture unique,the first coating and the second coating with good ductility;because of the existence of the oxide film,the bonding property between the coatings is poor,which results in the cracking of the coating interface during the tensile process,and affects the performance of the nickel mesh.according to the stiffness calculation method of the cylindrical nickel screen,we choose the best measurement length is 300 mm,and we measure the stiffness of different mesh nickel screen,domestic A company 125 mesh nickel screen stiffness value of K is 1.299×10-2 N mm-1,better than the other mesh nickel screen.
