With the bionics to delve deeper,more and more bionic products come to our life.Compared to the common superhydrophobic coating,transparent superhydrophobic coatings and transparent superamphiphobic coatings have obviously advantages and wide applications,such as optical lens and solar panel.Because not only the hydrophobicity of the coating but also transmittance of the coating was required.The superhydrophobicity of the coatings ensures washing away of the polltants from the coating,whereas the transmittance of the coating ensures their applications in highly transparent equipment and devices.Here,by using silane-modified MWCTs as the templates,we prepared nanostructured coatings on the surface of glass substrates via spray-coating.Subsequently,transparent silica nanotubes(SNTs)coatings were obtained by calcination of the coatings in a muffle furnace at 500 °C for 5 h.Finally,the transparent SNTs coatings were made superhydrophobic or superamphiphobic via surface modification with organosilanes.We got transparent superhydrophobic coatings by chemical vapor deposition with PDMS for 2 h at 200 °C onto the SNTs coating.The coatings showed excellent superhydrophobicity with a water contact angle of 166.6°,and a sliding angle of 1°and high transparency(83.1% at 600 nm).In addition,the transparent superhydrophobic coatings featured high mechanical,chemical and thermal durability.The coatings retained the excellent superhydrophobicity after intensive water jetting at 100 k Pa for 60 min,immersion in various corrosive liquids for 24 h,or kept at 390°C for 1 h.Moreover,the transparent and durable superhydrophobic coatings exhibited very good anti-bioadhesive properties.We got transparent superamphiphobic coatings by self-aselmbly of PFDTCS monolayer onto the SNTs coating in dry toluene.The SNTs coatings were treated by oxygen plasma,which generates SNTs coatings with abundant hydroxyl groups.Then,we got transparent superamphiphobic coatings by chemical vapor deposition with PFDTCS at in an oven.The transparent superhydrophobic have excellent mechanical performance,thermally stable and acid resistance.This is confirmed by scanning electron microscopy,transmitting electron microscopy and different stability test.It was found that the dosage of MWCNTs and the concentrations of HDTMS and TEOS have great influences on the microstructures and roughness of the SNTs coating,and have influences superhydrophobic and superamphiphobic of the coatings. |
