Study On Rapid Manufacture And Performance Of Electroplate Diamond Wire Saw

With the increasing and widespread application of hard brittle materials,especially precious hard brittle crystal material,such as silicon,sapphire,germanium,etc.The processing quality and efficiency requirements of cutting technology which is the preceding process of hard brittle material processing are constantly improving.Diamond wire saw as one of the most promising cutting technology is more widely used.In this paper,the manufacturing process of diamond wire saw is studied by self-developed composite brush plating manufacturing device and a set of optimization parameters are obtained.Meanwhile the performance of wire saw obtained under these parameters is evaluated.The main work and achievements are summarized as follows:(1)According to the using conditions,experimental materials are reasonable chosen and appropriate pretreatment methods were designed for those materials.(2)In order to improve the production rate of brush plating manufacturing of diamond wire saw,a new experimental equipment was designed and manufactured.Its remarkable characteristic is that the wire direction is parallel to the axis direction of the brush plating wheel.In reaction zone,the contact area between substrate material and felt wheel is a line,which can improve the wire speed and thus increase the production rate of diamond wire saw.(3)Through studying the effect of device parameters on the coating quality,the optimal brush plating method of device was determinated.Based on that,the influence of plating parameters on the coating quality and the diamond on the sanding process were studied.(4)The performance of diamond wire saw made under the optimal parameters was evaluated through surface coating quality test,mechanical properties test and cutting performance test.It is proved that diamond wire saw has good performance and the slit cutting by self-made diamond wire saw is smooth.
