With electrical submersible pumps(ESPs)are widely used in oil fields,it is particularly important to monitor the performance and to analyze the working conditions of ESP wells.For one hand the geographical position of ESP is dispersed,the other hand it is inconvenient to measure the working conditions under oil wells directly,a remote monitoring system for the performance of ESP wells based on GPRS was designed in this paper.In view of the limitation of the methods which analyze the performance and working condition of ESP wells current analysis method was used.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.The hardware of remote monitoring system for the performance of ESP wells based on GPRS was designed.The software program was written by VB and MATLAB mixed programming2.Long time test was done on the electric motor platform and ESP experimental well by using the remote monitoring system for the performance of ESP wells based on GPRS.A large number of experimental data were collected.3.The basic principle of current analysis method based on rotor slot harmonic,OACZT and elimination method was studied theoretically.In oil fields the performance and working conditions of some ESP wells were monitored.A large number of producer data were collected;the performance and working conditions of these monitored ESP producing wells were analyzed.In oil field 1# and 2# ESP wells were monitored intensively for long time,there continuous performance and working conditions were analyzed.The result showed that current analysis method has some advantages in working condition analyzing.4.Slot harmonic method was dynamically simulation analyzed in this paper.A conclusion(power frequency can influence slot harmonics)was drawn through a lot of experiments.The remote monitoring system designed in this paper can monitor the performance of ESP wells effectively.Current analysis method can easily and veraciously analyze the working conditions of ESP wells,at the same time provides solutions and ideas for working condition analysis and fault diagnosis of ESP wells.
