A Study On The Costume Culture Of The Song Dynasty In The Goddess Hall Of Jinci Temple

As an important part of a national traditional cultural system,costume culture has always occupied its unshakable position.In thousands of years of history,Chinese costume culture has a profound cultural heritage,and becomes a distinctive Chinese traditional culture and national cultural symbols.In recent years,due to the rise of Chinese Study,Han costume becomes more and more popular.In the history of Chinese costume,the traditional Chinese dress system was established in Tang and Song Dynasty.Different from Wei and Jin Dynasty,there was no As an important part of a national traditional cultural system,costume culture has always occupied its unshakable position.In thousands of years of history,Chinese costume culture has a profound cultural heritage,and becomes a distinctive Chinese traditional culture and national cultural symbols.In recent years,due to the rise of Chinese Study,Han costume becomes more and more popular.In the historyof Chinese costume,the traditional Chinese dress system was established in Tang and Song Dynasty.Although Song Dynasty was confronted by Liao and Jin,there was no national migration as in Wei and Jin.Therefore,the Song Dynasty was indeed to maintain a more traditional Chinese culture,including traditional costume style,which was refined and developed and became the foundation of the costume of Ming Dynasty.As the transitional period of the costume culture,Sony Dynasty is the focus of this paper.I will focus on the aesthetic culture and social life of the Song Dynasty,and then find out value and significance of the Song costumes.Finally,I’ll discuss its influence on the modern costumes.The painted statues of Jinci Temple were created in the Yuanyou period in Northern Song Dynasty.Through more than a thousand year,the art works in Jinci Temple,especially the painted statues,are still magnificent.They represent the craftsmen’s superb skills.The proportion of each statue is close to the real people,and the folds of the clothes swung with the action of the body are also very wonderful.All the statues are different,we are almost able to read their stories from their eyes.Actually,these statues can be regarded as an epitome of the social life in Northern Song Dynasty.Therefore,this paper relies on the social research,combined with a large number of documents and unearthed cultural relics.With the discussion on politic,economy,culture,science and technology in Northern Song Dynasty,this paper analyzes the costume style of painted statues in Jinci Temple and the aesthetic taste of Song Dynasty’s court.Furthermore,by the study on the costume culture,this paper explores the social relationship and constructs the reality of the court life in Song.As a student of costume design,I made the graphic costume design of each statue,and hope to provide a research basis for the design and application of the modern costume,help the designers who take Han costumes as the source of inspiration to create a true Chinese Han Confucian cultural design and also provide a reliable reference for the reconstruction of the costume design of Song Dynasty.The clothing culture of Jinci painted figures inheritance scheme,including the factors affecting the inheritance of specific methods and inheritance and inheritance.In the progress of this research,it is found that with the changes of time,the colored sculptures in Jinci Temple are fading and weathering,the precious cultural heritage isdrifting away.So I propose the painted statues in Jinci Temple are not only a treasure in the history of Chinese sculptures,but also a huge fortune of the history of Chinese costume which cannot be ignored.We should promote the protection of them and decrease to the damage from the nature and people as far as possible.That will provide a valuable basis for the further research of other scholars in the future.
