The underground personnel positioning system is one of the important pledges which based on the secure production of the coal mine companies.As the scales of The coal mining industry are expanding constantly,the position dates of the mine personnel that are collected by the pointing device are increasing quickly.In order to realize the administration goals which are more standardized and rational that based on the mining personnel,the locating system of the mining personnel must save and transmit more complex data.If we can compress and optimize these mass datas,we could not only reduce the burdens of the storage and transfer and the consumption of the resource,but also cut short the extent of the data redundancy.Under the circumstances we could offer the conveniences for the analyzing and excavation of the tracks.As the traditional compression algorithms can only compress dates in the textual way,and they did not consider the spatial characteristics of the position datas,so the compression efficiency of the compression algorithms based on the conventional data was not very high.The paper studied the time and space characters of the locator datas,and solved the compaction problem of the locator datas by the compaction algorithm based on the track.But at the present,the most moving tools based on the algorithm of the trajectory compression are the position datas of cars,So the quality is low.Under the circumstances,the paper Compressed the location data by studying and analyzing these algorithms.Firstly,the paper analyzed the advantages and defect of the trajectory compression algorithm,and describe personnel location information by using roadway information.Secondly,the paper recorded the personnel information about changing direction and stopping,so then the personnel location data was compressed.Finally,the paper reconstituted the personnel location data by the way of time scale.The improved algorithm not only got a perfect compression ratio,but also boosted the compression quality.At the same time,the paper thought the roadway could astrict the personalmovement,and the repetitive rate of the personnel historical route ishigh.So in the experiment,the paper compressed the a mass of trajectory datas based on some trajectory samples and got a ideal compression ratio.
