Roll grinder is a kind of indispensable equipment in modern industrial production,and the roll grinder by it is mainly used in metallurgy,papermaking and steel rolling industries.With the improvement of quality of the product,the precision requirement of the roll grinder gets higher.As the technology in high-speed and ultra-high speed grinding is late in China,the grinder in China is still in a normal roll grinder.High-speed grinding is an advanced manufacturing technology,it can reflect the industrial strength and ability to innovate of our country,at the same it is indicator of a nation's comprehensive strength.Grinding head is a core component of high-speed precision roll grinder,and its performances affect directly grinding performances of the whole roll grinder.In this paper,reference to domestic general low-speed grinding roll,structure of a set of adjustable high-speed precision grinding head is designed,and works of it as follows:Firstly,through analyzing the structure of traditional low-speed roll grinder,and structure layout of high-speed precision roll grinder is done.On these bases,its structure is designed,and 3 d model of high-speed precision roll grinder is established completely by software solidworks,finally compete the assembly of it.Secondly,mechanism of thermal of high-speed precision roll grinder is analyzed,and its heat transfer is found between heat source of roll grinder and each parts.On these basis,friction power and heat transfer coefficient of heat sources are analyzed and calculated.ANSYS finite element software is used to analyze its statics,temperature field and thermal deformation,and gained its stress-strain diagram,temperature distribution and thermal deformation graph.Analyze simulation results,find the weak link of roll grinder's structure and put forward the optimization requirements of the roll grinder.Finally,optimize the weak link of roll grinder,and analysis results show that weak link of the roll grinder is hydrostatic thrust bearing,belt wheel and hybrid bearing.Genetic optimization algorithm is adopted ultimately to complete the structural optimization,assemble the optimized structure,and analyze its heat structure coupling,too.Analysis results show as follows: temperature distribution and thermal strain distribution of the improved roll grinder are more reasonable.In order to get a reasonable and economical roll grinder,design exploration is adopted to optimal performance of the roll grinder,and analyze its improved structure again.Analysis results show as follows: structure of the roll grinder is improved obviously in the premise of guaranteeing quality but not to damage the structure properties.
