Polyacrylamide is one of the most widely used in water-soluble polymer.With the increase of the amount of polyacrylamide,the preparation of polyacrylamide has become a hot spot.We have synthesized three kinds of polymer as PAM?P(AM/DMC)and P(AM/GG)by Inverse Emulsion Polymerization with some water-solubility monomer like ammonium acrylate,2-Methyl Acryloyloxyethyl Trimethyl Ammonium chloride acrylamide,and guar gum as basic material in this paper,and studied their Intrinsic viscosity,confirmed the best synthesize technics condition,used infrared spectrometer analyzed The structure of the polymer.This paper can be divided into four parts:1?The synthesis methods of acrylamide polymers were discussed briefly,and basic conception,the concept,the influence factors,the polymerization mechanism,the current research status and the latest research results of inverse emulsion polymerization technology.Inverse Emulsion Polymerization as a new kind of emulsion polymerization technology was developed from early 1960.Its outstanding virtues:System viscosity is low,easy to heat transfer,not easy to occur,the reaction rate is higher,the average molecular weight of the product is larger and the distribution is narrow,easy to achieve industrialization and continuous operation and so on.The emulsion can be directly transferred,so it has been widely concerned.2?We had synthesized PAM with monomer AM,studied some effection factors asContinuousphase,emulsifiertype,monomerconcentration,initiator concentration,initiator ratio,and so on.Confirmed the best synthesize technics condition:liquid paraffin as a continuous phase,Span80/OP-4 composite emulsifier HLBin5.6-6;reactiontemperature30?;m(oil):m(water)=1.0;m(redox initiator):m(peroxide initiator)=1.0;product molecular weight:2.13×106.The reverse phase emulsion was directly dissolved in water,and the polymerization mechanism of inverse emulsion was obtained by comparing the size of the emulsion,and We had also analyzed and characterized homopolymer PAM structure by infrared spectrometer.3?We had synthesized P(AM-DMC)with monomer AM and DMC,studied some effection factors as Continuous phase,emulsifier type,monomer concentration,initiator concentration,initiator ratio,reaction temperature and reaction time.and so on.Confirmed the best synthesize technics condition:liquid paraffin as a continuous phase,Span80/OP-4compositeemulsifier;reactiontemperature40?;m(AM):m(DMC)=1:1;reaction time was 3h,initiator concentration was0.02-0.03g/ml-1;product molecular weight:1.2×10~6;monomer conversion rate of 80%.We had analyzed and characterized homopolymer P(AM-DMC)structure by infrared spectrometer.4?We had synthesized P(AM-GG)with monomer AM and GG,studied some effection factors as Continuous phase,emulsifier type,monomer concentration,initiator concentration,initiator ratio,reaction temperature and reaction time.and so on.Confirmed the best synthesize technics condition:liquid paraffin as a continuous phase,Span80/OP-4compositeemulsifier;reactiontemperature45?;m(AM):m(GG)=4:1;reactiontimewas5h,initiatorconcentrationwas5mmol;product molecular weight:4.1×106;Grafting ratio and conversion:67%?48%.We had analyzed and characterized homopolymer P(AM-GG)structure by infrared spectrometer.Study on the properties(flocculation,temperature resistance,salt tolerance)of polymersIn conclusion,three polymers like PAM?P(AM-DMC)?P(AM-GG)with some characteristics as high stability and apparent viscidity,reverse phase emulsion was directly dissolved in waterwere producted by Inverse Emulsion Polymerization.We expect broadly application in these fields as petroleum recovery,flocculant,thickening agent,and paper making,and so on.
