In this thesis,the preparation and applications of the rare earth luminescent polymer materials and acrylic resin are fully described.Taking advantages of rare earth luminescent polymer materials and acrylic resin,the bonded type luminescent materials are prepared by solution polymerization and the doped type luminescent materials are obtained by emulsion polymerization.In the scheme of solution polymerization,methyl methacrylate?MMA?and maleic anhydride?MAH?are used as monomers,toluene as solvent,azodisobutyronitrile?AIBN?as initiator to prepare copolymer P?MMA-MAH?.And para aminobenzoic acid?PABA?,Europium Chloride hexahydrate?EuCl3·6H2O?,Terbium Chloride hexahydrate?TbCl3·6H2O?,phenanthroline?phen?are chosen as raw materials to obtain complexes bearing amino groups.After that,the finally luminescent materials are obtained by the two above products.The materials are characterized by FT-IR,XRD,SEM,luminescent spectra and TG.The materials can be excited by 294nm and emit pure and strong light.The lifetime is about 1ms.The analysis of the relationship between luminescent intensity and the content of rare earth complex indicates the optimal content of complex is 0.1mmol when the weight of P?MMA-MAH?is 1.6g.And the temperature of weight loss at 5%?T5?is higher than200?,it indicates the materials have excellent thermal stability.In the scheme of emulsion polymerization,methyl methacrylate?MMA?,vinyltriethoxysiane?VTES?and 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid?AMPS?are chosen as monomers,ammonium persulfate?APS?as initiator to obtain resin via the soap-free emulsion.The optimal process is also studied and the results indicate the optimal process parameter is MMA:AMPS:VTES:APS:H2O=10:2:1:0.04:86.96.The Pyromellitic acid?PMA?is obtained by reaction of Pyromellitic dianhydride?PMDA?and sodium hydroxide?NaOH?.After the obtained emulsion is functioned with aminopropyltriethoxysilane,the PMA,EuCl3·6H2O and TbCl3·6H2O are put into the emulsion to get the final product directly after filtration and drying.The materials are characterized by FTIR,XRD,SEM,luminescent spectra and TG.The results indicate:rare earth ions can well coordinate with MMA and PMA.When excited at 298nm,the luminescent materials can emit strong light.The lifetime is short and about 0.54ms.It also has excellent thermal stability?T5 is 245??.The results also show that only by adjusting the ratio of Eu3+and Tb3+ions simply,the multicolor luminescence will be obtained.
