In order to save water and enhance energy efficiency,a variety of method are used to treat calcium scale in industrial circulating water system,among them,adding scale inhibitors is one of the most common methods at present.Refer to related literatures at home and abroad,a kind of polyether type of green scale inhibitor has been synthesized in this paper.In this paper,oxalic acid reacts with isoamyl enol polyoxyethylene ether(TPEG)for sealing side.And carboxylic polyether monomer oxalic acid ester(TPEO)is got from this reaction.The free radical copolymerization reaction occurs between acrylic acid(AA)and TPEO.Consequently,a kind of highly efficient and green inhibitor,TPEO-AA,has been synthesized.To verify the product's structure and related characteristics,the infrared spectra(FTIR),nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectrum(1H-NMR),gel permeation chromatograph(GPC)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)are used to test the raw material and product.The influence of monomer ratio,initiator dosage,reaction temperature and reaction time on the properties of TPEO/AA is studied through the static anti-scaling method.Results showed that TPEO/AA has good scale inhibition effect,and has certain corrosion inhibition effect.And the optimum synthetic process is determined.The inhibition efficiency of TPEO/AA and common water treatment agents is compared.And the change of scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition performance of TPEO/AA following the change of ion concentration,pH and temperature in cooling circulating water is examined.The surface morphology of calcium scale and the carbon steel slice is observed using scanning electron microscope(SEM).And the changes of crystal structure and crystal diffraction intensity are studied through infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X-ray powder diffraction(XRD).As a new kind of water treatment agent,TPEO/AA's synthesis process is simple.Performance of scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition is good.It can be used for high alkalinity,hardness and temperature.And it is a kind of environmentally friendly scale corrosion inhibitor for there is no nitrogen and phosphorus in the raw material.
