With the increasing of environmental problems and the enhancement of awareness of environmental protection,pigment dyeing binder with the advantage of wide range of color brightness,free of washing,shorting the process,reducing the pollution of waste dyeing water to environment and so on,has become the trend of fabric dyeing.However,the dyed fabric is of poor softness and weak color fastness,and some emulsifiers of alkylphenol ethoxylates are contained in pigment dyeing binders.pigment dyeing binders of polyacrylate and polyurethane were preparated separately in this work by using several functional monomers,to improve the bond strength of the coating film,the rubbing fastness,and the softness of dyed fabric.The influence of some main factors on the binder was explored in this work via orthogonal experiment.The particle size distribution and Zeta potential of the emulsions were determined by nano-particle size and potential analyzer.The emulsion stability was assessed by the resistants to acid,alkali,electrolyte and centrifugal enviroments.The bond strength of the coating film was measured by the microcomputer controlled electronic universal testing machine.The molecular structure of the polymer was detected by infrared spectroscopy.The glass transition temperature of the adhesive was measured by differential scanning calorimetry.The rubbing fastness of the fabric was measured by friction fastness tester.According to the results of detections,the influence factors were comprehensively analyzed,and the optimal technological prescriptions of the synthesing binders were confirmed.The main research contents are outlined as below:(1)A pigment dyeing of polyacrylate emulsion was synthesized from the main materials of acrylate monomers and glycidyl methacrylate via the pre-emulsification and seeded semi-continuous emulsion polymerization,by using a compound emulsifier of sodium dodecyl sulfate and iso-tridecanol polyoxyethylene ether.It was found that the hard segment content and the amount of emulsifier were the main factors to affect the emulsion stability and the dyeing performance.The cohesion of polymer molecules,the water resistance,the hardness of the coating film and dyeing fastness were improved with the increase of hard segment.Emulsifier remained in the film or interface of fibers and resin could lead to the decrease of color fastness.Certainly,the increasing amount of emulsifier could reduce the emulsion particle size,improve the permeability of emulsion particles in the fabric fibers and enhance the color fastness.The results showed that the emulsion stability was good,the grass transition temperature of polyacrylate was-27 ? and the dyed fabrics is softness with dry friction of grade 5,wet friction of grade 4,when the content of hard monomers was 8.0 g,glycidyl methacrylate 2.0 g,hydroxyethl acrylate 2.0 g and compound emulsifier 4.0 wt%.(2)The esterified castor oil with active C=C was prepared by modifying castor oil with umethacrylic acid.Then the pigment dyeing polyacrylate emulsion was synthesized from the main materials of acrylate monomers and esterified castor oil,by using a compound initiator of ammonium persulfate and sodium bisulfite.It was found that the weak polar segments of castor oil and silicone oil aggregated and led to microphase separation in the bulk resin,forming a microphase with a glass temperature of-51 ?,which improved the softness,slippneriness and low temperature resistance of the dyed fabric.The hard segment content and the glycidyl methacrylate content have the greatest influence on the rubbing fastness of the dyed fabric.The more negative charge density the emulsion particle had,more stable it was.The results showed that the emulsion was stable,there were two grass transition temperatures,-51 ? and-27 ?,in polymer film,and the dyed fabrics was softness with dry friction of grade 5,wet friction of grade 4,when the content of hard monomers was 6.0 g,glycidyl methacrylate 2.0 g,esterified castor oil 2.0 g and composite initiator 1.0 wt%.(3)A pigment dyeing of waterborne polyurethane emulsion was synthesized from the main materials of castor oil(CO),hydroxypropyl silicone oil,isophorone diisocyanate,2-[(2-aminoethyl)amino]salt(AAS)via the prepolymer preparation.It was found that the castor oil content and R value(NCO/OH)were the main factors to affect the stability of the emulsion.The water resistance and dyeing fastness was improved with the increase of the castor oil.The cohesion of the polymer,the bond strength of the film and dyeing fastness were improved with the increasing R value.The results showed that the emulsion particle size was small,the viscosity was low,the adhesive strength was high,the emulsion was stable and the dyed fabrics was softness with dry friction of grade 4-5,wet friction of grade 4,when R value was 3 and the content of dihydromethyl propionic acid 0.04 mol,CO 5.0 g and AAS 0.007 mol.
