In this paper, the synthesis and properties of the polyacrylate emulsion and acrylate emulsion modified by organic silicon/organic fluorine and silicon were discussed. Synthesized the pure acrylic emulsion used continuous seed emulsion polymerization, and the stabilized acrylate emulsion modified by organic silicon/organic fluorine and silicon used high shear monomer and emulsion method. Testing and characterization the structure and properties of the products.A novel polyacrylate emulsion was successfully prepared by continuous seed emulsion polymerization. Used ethyl acrylate (EA) and butyl acrylate (BA) as the soft monomer, methyl methacrylate (MMA) as hard monomer, methyl acrylic acid (MAA) and acrylic acid (AA) as functional monomers, ammonium persulfate (APS) as initiator, nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether ammonium sulfate (CO436) as the emulsifier. Experiment results showed that the emulsion had good comprehensive properties such as the initial adhesive strength, quick drying and good cold resistance, when m (EA):m (BA):m (MMA)=19.2:6.4:6.4, m (MAA):m (AA)=2:1, w (MAA+AA)=6%-8%, w (BA)=6%~8%and finally using ammonia neutralization the emulsion pH is7-8. The high speed labeling adhesive for beer bottles used acrylate copolymer emulsion as the replacement of casein and modification for the casein glue, which is expected to significantly reduce labeling adhesive industry costs and has a good application prospect.Modification the acrylic ester emulsion on the basis of synthesis the pure acrylate emulsion, used octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) and coupling agent y-methacryloxy propyl trimethoxyl silane (KH570), dodecafluoroheptyl methacrylate (DFMA), methyl methacrylate (MMA), butyl acrylate (BA), ethyl acrylate (EA) and methylacrylic acid (MAA). Acrylate emulsion modified by organic silicon (for short:silicone acrylic emulsion) and acrylate emulsion modified by organic fluorine and silicon (for short: fluorine and silicon acrylic emulsion) were successfully prepared, respectively. In the process of emulsion polymerization using this method can be avoided the D4and KH570hydrolysis condensation caused a large number of gels.This article also discussed the effect of fluorine and silicon monomer content, the modification methods and acrylic emulsion modified by organic silicon and fluorine at the same time on properties of the emulsion. Testing and characterization the structure and properties of the products by infrared spectrum, thermal analysis (TG, DSC). Research found that the surface properties, adhesion and water resistance were superior to modification acrylic ester emulsion than pure acrylic emulsion.
